As many of us across the country have been experiencing some frigid temperatures this week…
…this Disney World park has decided to “batten down the hatches” for the arctic blast coming its way this weekend!
We’ve confirmed Disney World’s Typhoon Lagoon will be closed this Saturday, November 16th and Sunday, November 17th due to cold weather. As of right now, the weekend’s forecast for the Orlando/ Lake Buena Vista area is calling for mostly cloudy conditions with temperatures in the 6o’s and a low of 50.
Typhoon Lagoon is showing “no times available” on its webpage for November 16th and November 17th, and since Blizzard Beach is currently closed for refurbishment, there won’t be any waterparks open in Disney World this weekend!
If you feel like braving the cold weather, you’re only swimming option will be the resort pool of where you’re staying. We think we’ll be bundling up instead and we’ll leave our swimming plans for warmer, sunnier days — but that’s just us!
