You might’ve noticed but the holidays are HERE in Disneyland!!
And with them they’ve brought a bunch of new holiday treats like a Santa Hamm Apple or the showstopping Peppermint Mickey Shake. Still, even with the huge variety of treats rollin’ in, there’s a classic that has a special place in our hearts — the churro! Well, we’re in luck because there’s a TON of holiday churros appearing around Disneyland Resort for the Christmas season. Here’s a FULL LIST of all the holiday varieties ranked!
1. Pecan Pie Churro
Now THIS holiday churro is WILD. For the Festival of Holidays in California Adventure, Willie’s Churros is cooking up a Pecan Pie Churro! You read that right!! This thing may be messy but man is it delicious. We loved blend of sweet and salty flavors. For $6.25 nab this classic churro smothered in maple glaze, toasted pecans, and chocolate drizzle. De-lish! Definitely our fave churro of the season!

2. Horchata Churro
There’s just something so good about Horchata and as soon as you put it in churro form, we come running! That’s why we were so excited to find the Horchata Churro at Goofy’s Sky School Churro Cart in Disney California Adventure. This churro costs $6.25 and is made with cinnamon and nutmeg sugar and a condensed milk dipping sauce.

3. Milk and Cookies Churro
If you’ve got similar taste to Santa Claus, you’ll probably want to keep an eye out for the Milk and Cookies Churro! This holiday specialty can be found at the Churro Cart near the Hollywood Lounge for $6.25. The churro is rolled in chocolate chip cookie and cookies and cream sugar with a yummy cookies and cream dipping sauce. This one might be simple but it is so so SO good! With the classic Christmas inspiration, it definitely makes our top three!

4. Sugar Cookie Churro
Maybe the most festive and instagrammable churro on this list is the Sugar Cookie Churro!! It’s just a classic churro covered in icing and holiday sprinkles just like those famous holiday sugar cookies. This one can be found at Cozy Cone Motel in California Adventure for $5.79. Even though it is a classic churro base, this one is still tasty and pretty enough to impress!

5. Turtle Churro
Coming in at number five, we spotted the Turtle Churro over at the Frontierland Churro Cart in Disneyland and boy, is this thing tasty! A churro dusted with dark chocolate sugar, drizzled with condensed milk, and served with caramel pecan dipping sauce?? YES PLEASE! Give the Turtle Churro a taste for $6.25.

6. Peppermint Churro
Is there a flavor that is more Christmas-y than peppermint? We don’t think so, which is why there’s a lot of pressure on the Peppermint Churro. Maybe grab a bib or even a rain poncho because this one takes the cake for MESSIEST holiday churro! Smothered in crushed peppermint, chocolate sauce, and vanilla icing; you have to eat this treat FAST if you want to stay clean, making a little bit challenging to eat. Still, it’s delicious and you can have one yourself for $6.25 at the Redwood Creek Trail Churro Cart!

7. Toffee Churro
Over in Tomorrowland at the Tomorrowland Churro Cart, we caught wind of another holiday churro — the Toffee Churro. This guy is $5.75 and you can add chocolate or chocolate almond dipping sauce for $1.00. This one was high demand with a line at the cart every time we passed. The subtle toffee sugar makes for a tasty treat so we can see why the people are lovin’ it but it is VERY subtle, so more of the bang comes from the dipping sauce which is why it’s lower on our list.

8. Caramel and Coconut Churro
Then, there’s the Caramel and Coconut Churro! This one can be found at the Sleeping Beauty Churro Cart for $5.75 with an option to add caramel coconut dip for $1.00. The churro itself is pretty close to a classic churro and that dip is way more caramel-y than it is coconut-y, but this is the perfect option for someone who loves a sticky caramel treat! We wish this churro had more flavor from the coconut flakes so that’s why it comes in pretty low on our holiday churro ranking.

8. Sugar Plum Churro
And last up is the Sugar Plum Churro. Yes, it’s pretty but our treat tasted sorta synthetic and fake. You never know though, maybe we just had a super sugary batch! You can find it for $5.25 at the New Orleans Churro Cart in Disneyland. Even though this is very sweet and didn’t blow us away in terms of flavor, it still might be a great option for the little ones looking for a colorful and sweet treat.
