It’s been hard watching Epcot undergo its massive transformation…
On the one hand, SO MANY new and exciting things to look forward to, but on the other, we’re losing much that we know and love. And what we noticed today was an especially difficult one for many of us and our star-crossed Starbucks loving friends!
That’s because Epcot’s former Fountain View Starbucks location in Future World has been almost completely demolished! Sooooo SAD!!!
Why we remember when this Starbucks was just a twinkle in Epcot’s eye back in 2013 and we have many fond memories of sipping our venti Starbucks Doubleshots here — just the quick little pick-me-up we needed before heading off to IllumiNations — also gone the way of the dodo now.
And while we’ve seen some Starbucks merch like mugs and tumblers move over to Mouse Gear, we’ve yet to see Disney set up a temporary Starbucks until the new location is finished. But don’t worry — we’ll keep you updated with all the info you’ll need to know about getting your next Starbucks caffeine fix at Epcot as soon as we hear it!

Does any one know… Is it just the buildings they are destroying of the actual fountain? I hope not, I love that fountain!
DFB Sarah says
Karen, so far we’ve only seen work on the building, but the fountain hasn’t been officially saved or sacrificed. We’ll update when we know!
Karen says
Thanks for that Sarah, I really hope they don’t destroy the amazing fountain. It is the EPCOT big ball ride as we call it, and the beautiful fountain is what make make EPCOT for our family. COME ON DISNEY leave us something familiar… PLEASE?
