Get crackin’ on those holiday cocktails because you’re going to want something yummy in your new tiki mug!

We found out just a few days ago that we could expect the Nutcracker Tiki Mug at Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar in Disneyland and at Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto in Disney World. Well, buckle-up headhunters because the new novelty is here and we have alllll the deets!

The Nutcracker Tiki Mug was first released TODAY in Disneyland at 7 AM — and we were in line to scoop one up! While the Disneyland Hotel was set up for a large crowd, there were only about 100 people in line this morning! Plus they had plenty of other limited-edition tiki mugs available for purchase, too!

There were some leftover Hatbox Ghost Tiki Mugs for $35…

…as well as Tangaroa Surfboard Tiki Mug for $30…

…and the Golden Piranha Tiki Mug for $30!

But we were here for one reason only: the Nutcracker Tiki Mug! And it was well worth the relatively short wait because this thing is SO CUTE.

The Disneyland version is a pale shade of green, while the one we’ll be picking up in Disney World later today will be a bright red!

The Nutcracker Tiki Mug has a ton of Christmasy appeal! In fact, this mug is an AWESOME tribute to the Jingle Cruise, one of our fave holiday overlays in Disney World! We sure would love it if this little guy was our skipper!

We nabbed the Disneyland Nutcracker Tiki Mug for $30 — which is ONLY for the tiki mug straight up! No beverage included in this bad boy!

And while tiki mugs from Trader Sam’s make great collector’s items and even better gifts — we think this adorable new Nutcracker Tiki Mug Ornament would also be a fine addition to anyone’s Christmas tree this year! We also scored him at the Disneyland Hotel this morning! The ornament is $24.99 and can be found at both the Disneyland Hotel and the Polynesian in Disney World.

While we’ve been waiting patiently for Disney World’s Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto to release their version of the red Nutcracker Tiki Mug, and we gotta say, the crowds weren’t too bad here, either! Here’s what it looked like when we arrived right before 1PM today!

Getting the Nutcracker Tiki Mug is a little different at Disney World — while you can buy Disneyland’s version WITHOUT a drink, you can only by Disney World’s WITH one! Here’s a look at the holiday drink menu!

This morning the only cocktail option available was the Mele Kaliki Mai Tai. The rum flavor was VERY pronounced, while the drink had a nice spicy-cinnamony after taste! The drink comes in a separate plastic cup so that your Nutcracker Tiki Mug stays nice and clean!

While the Nutcracker Tiki Mug in Disney World costs only $26, remember — we had to buy the $14 drink in order to get it! After tax, the grand total for Disney World’s version of the Nutcracker Tiki Mug came to $42.60!

So, if you’re the Mele Kalikimaka tiki mug type, pop over to Trader Sam’s location and take a Nutcracker Tiki Mug home for yourself!
