While we can’t get enough of that one-of-a-kind Disney magic, we CAN’T WAIT to take a few sips of something a little darker in Disney World!
La Cava del Tequila in Epcot’s Mexico Pavilion will soon be enchanting us with the new frozen Black Magic margarita…and it’s got a STORY to tell! (As well as a pretty LEGENDARY recipe developer.)
The boozy beverage is hand-crafted by none other than Neil Patrick Harris. As you may know, Harris was previously the “Ambassador of Magic” (or president, if you want the less awesome title) of the epic Magic Castle in Los Angeles (where, someday, I will go for my birthday).
Um, can you even get any cooler?!
Well, NPH still performs magic on the reg. And, his latest trick just happens to be the newest drink at La Cava!
The Black Magic margarita will be freezing over whoever dares to drink it with its mixture of smokey Mezcal, blackberry purée, Cassis liqueur, lime, and mint.
And while we’re still waiting to hear more news about La Cava del Tequila’s upcoming Agave VIP Club, we DO know you’ll be able to snag the Black Magic starting December 28th!
So what are you waiting for??? Get those hotel reservations and get ready to party in Epcot this New Year’s!

Are the margaritas at la cava always premade now? The first time we went they were made per order and were fantastic. Every time we have been since (always during a festival) they have been premade and just poured from pitchers, with a definite drop in quality. Wondering if they only do that for larger crowds due to food and wine festival, or if that is the standard at all times.

I was there last week and watched my blood orange on the rocks and my wife’s avocado frozen margarita made fresh!

I’ve read on the Easy Blog they are all pre-made in batches, and not very generous on the tequila, typical Disney ! With a heafty tip built in to the card receipt to boot.
