Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’s big release date is fast approaching and we’re already getting a bit misty-eyed!
But we spotted just the thing on our walk through Disney Springs today that’ll help put your frayed Star Wars nerves at ease!
Check out the adorable new R2-D2 Cake we spotted beepin’ and bloopin’ at Amorette’s Patisserie today!
Alright, so maybe the R2-D2 Cake wasn’t actually emitting any sound effects, but it IS incredibly realistic-looking! We never realized until just this moment how perfectly suited R2’s head is to becoming a CAKE!
The R2-D2 Cake is made of chocolate chiffon cake with vanilla cream mousse, chantilly cream, milk chocolate ganache, and white and dark chocolate crisp pearls making for one very delicious little droid indeed!
Currently, you can buy the R2-D2 Cake at Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs for $59! It’s a pretty hefty-sized cake, so if ya wanna share, there’s plenty of R2 to go around! Buuuut, if you’d rather enjoy it all by yourself, simply tell your buddies and fam this is NOT the droid you’re looking for!
And be sure to see Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker when it comes out this Friday! To see some special behind-the-scenes footage of the making of the new film, click here!

FIFTY NINE DOLLARS!!!!???!!!
That thing better be the size of a normal cake and not one of those itty bitty single serving cakes.
DFB Sarah says
Brandon, it is a full-size (by Amorette’s standards) cake not the mini dome.
