Hello princesses, Jedi knights, Mouseketeers, and whoever else might be reading along today!
It’s the end of a busy week at Disney, and time to gear up for an even busier one! That’s right, Christmas Day is next week which means we’re facing up with one of the busiest Disney World weeks of the whole year. With sooo many people headed to the parks next week, it’s all the more helpful to know what won’t be open. Check out next week’s round-up of everything closed in Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom!
Refurbishments in Magic Kingdom
Walt Disney World Railroad
As usual, we’re checking in on the beloved Walt Disney World Railroad that’s currently holed up at Main Street Station. If you’re looking for a cute photo op, you’re in luck! But, if you were hoping for an iconic “Grand Circle Tour” trip around the Magic Kingdom, you might be a little disappointed on this Disney World trip.
The Frontierland Station and Fantasyland Station are completely closed right now as the train is not running its usual course. The Railroad closed a while back to accommodate the construction of TRON Lightcycle Run in Tomorrowland which we know is expected to open by October of 2021 for Disney World’s 50th Anniversary. Maybe we’ll see the Railroad reopen before that but for now, it’s still a mystery.

Refurbishments in Epcot
Impressions de France
We’re inching closer to next month’s reopening of Impressions de France in Epcot’s France Pavilion. On January 17, the Palais du Cinema will reopen its doors as a spot where you can not only check out Impressions de France, but you can also see the brand new Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along.Â

Canada Circle-Vision Theater
Canada Circle-Vision Theater in World Showcase has been closed since the final showing of O’ Canada a few months ago. Luckily, we’re close to this reopening too as it will debut the new Canada Far & Wide show on January 17 too. Still, if you’re headed to Disney World next week, you’ll have to admire the theater from the outside.

Refurbishments at the Resorts
Beaches & Cream Soda Shop — Disney’s Beach Club Resort
There’s a closure of a very popular joint at Disney’s Beach Club Resort right now too! Beaches & Cream Soda Shop is a favorite for many because of its awesome ice cream selection and its famous Kitchen Sink Sundae. The dining location has been closed for a little while with a temporary location in Ariel’s nearby, however, we’re so close to an opening of the new space that even the temporary location will be closed for part of next week.
That’s right. PART of next week. That’s because the new and improved Beaches & Cream will open to guests on December 26. Helloooooo Kitchen Sink!!!

With no refurbs going on in Animal Kingdom or Hollywood Studios, that’s a wrap! Check back next week for another refurb round-up. 🙂
