While you might be spending the holidays in Disney World, we’re channeling a little bit of paradise this Christmas!
If you want a break from the gingerbread, peppermint, and sugar cookies, we’re taking you with us to the Caribbean to sip on two fruity drinks!
Banana Cabana at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is serving up the Island Time Seasonal Margarita for the holidays with a pear-iffic twist!
The seasonal sip is renamed the Desert Pear and mixed up with Don Julio Reposado Tequila, Grand Marnier, Sweet-and-Sour, and Pear Syrup for $14.
After we took our first sip, the booze hit us HARD with the Desert Pear! But, after we mixed it up a bit, the pear flavors really stood out more compared to the tequila and Grand Marnier.
Our favorite part about this drink, though, was that it didn’t taste like a regular margarita! It wasn’t tart like a usual marg, but unique with its light and refreshing flavors (we could definitely have more than one of these bbs!).
If you want a bit less strong, Banana Cabana is also pouring up the Goombay Smash with Cruzan Disney Select Single Single Barrel Rum, Parrot Bay Coconut Rum, Plantation Original Dark Rum, Sweet-and-Sour, and Pineapple Juice for $13.
If you’re a pineapple fan like we are, the Goombay Smash tastes just like a treat straight from the beach! The pineapple flavors are more prominent than any other flavor…
…Buuut, the light kick of booze really adds a nice finish to the pineapple so it isn’t overly sweet.
While you may not be staying at Caribbean Beach, the resort is one of the Skyliner stations (it’s the hub of all of them, actually!) so you can easily swing by to have a drink or two at Banana Cabana (yaaas!).
