Review! We're LOVING the NEW Neil Patrick Harris Black Magic Margarita in Epcot!

There is a new LEGENDARY margarita in Epcot.

So, naturally, we HAD to try it! Today, we swung on over to La Cava del Tequila in Epcot’s Mexico Pavilion and ordered the Black Magic Margarita, developed by Neil Patrick Harris. That’s right…the one and only NPH has developed a Disney marg, people. Want to know what we thought??

We love hanging out in La Cava del Tequila (because obviously); it’s one of the coolest places to have a marg around Disney World. And we think that the new Black Magic Margarita is an awesome addition to the menu. It’s made with smoky Mezcal, blackberry purée, Cassis liqueur, lime, and mint.

And, since the Black Magic debuted TODAY, we were one of the first people in line to grab the drink (to give you a review, of course)! Buuuut, we also happened to receive NPH’s latest book in his The Magic Misfits series just for purchasing the drink! That means we definitely should thank Neil for his creativity two times. (;

In case you didn’t know, Neil Patrick Harris is known for his skills in magic. He actually used to be the Ambassador of Magic for the Magic Castle in Los Angeles (so you know this marg is seriously magical).

And we thought that this drink lives up to its name — it’s magic! While you can taste the Mezcal with every sip, we seriously love the fact it is so smokey.

The blackberry is balanced just right with the mezcal, adding some sweetness to the flavors. And, even though the booze isn’t super strong, the kick is definitely there.

If you’re a fan of fruity or frozen cocktail or maybe you want an introduction to mezcal, you’ll want to head over to La Cava to try the Black Magic Margarita for $21. (Yep — $21…that’s the only down side to this one. It’s PRICEY. But sometimes ya gotta shell out for high-end ingredients.)

Annnnd, get this!! You don’t have to be one of the first people to try the Black Magic Margarita to get The Magic Misfits. Random guests who order the margarita throughout the day will also receive special Neil Patrick Harris merchandise like the book or a deck of cards! Pretty cool, don’t ya think?
