With the start of the New Year, and many people on vacation, it’s a particularly busy time over in Disney World!
On this rather busy day over at the Magic Kingdom, the PeopleMover has experienced a few “technical difficulties” which have caused the attraction to be “temporarily closed.”
When we visited the scene, there were various Cast Members and technicians on the scene, as well as firefighters who were packing up to leave.
Currently, the both the PeopleMover and Astro Orbiter are closed down, with various workers appearing to work on the ramp leading up to the ride, which appears to be covered in white fire retardant.
We’ll keep you updated as we learn more information on this developing story!
UPDATE: The PeopleMover is back open, though the walkway isn’t moving currently.
