With the start of 2020, we’ve seen a few of our fave rides temporarily close in Disney World for planned refurbishments!
Splash Mountain
One of those rides is a zip-a-dee-do-dah good time that also happens to be the a pretty good was to cool off on a hot Disney World day. While we may not be able to ride Splash Mountain at the moment, we were still able to visit Briar Patch in Magic Kingdom where we found a few new pieces of merch that warmed our Splash-lovin’ hearts!
Currently, Splash Mountain is down for refurbishment until February 28th, 2020. The annual seasonal closure typically happens during the winter months since, believe it or not, sometimes it does get cold in Florida!

Luckily, even though Splash Mountain is closed, you can still head over to the ride’s gift shop, Briar Patch, which remains open. And we’re sure happy we ventured on over, because we found two awesome new pieces of merchandise that are perfect for showing off our Splash Mountain love!

Looks pretty normal, right? Well, for anyone that saw our previous post on the “I Brer’ly Got Wet” Kids T-Shirt, chances are you know there’s more to the Splash Mountain Tank Top then meets the eye!

That’s right! Just like with the Kids T-Shirt, when this shirt gets wet it displays the text “I Brer’ly Got Wet”! Seriously, what better shirt to wear for riding on Splash Mountain?!

While Splash Mountain may be down for refurbishment, you can still head on over to the Briar Patch (aka, Splash Mountain‘s gift shop) in Magic Kingdom to pick up the new Splash Mountain Tank Top for $34.99, or Lookin’ For Trouble Sweatshirt for $49.99.

I use to enjoy this store but anymore its always trashed. They let people sit all over the floor, park their strollers everywhere inside and allow people to sit on the lower shelves where products are, its ridiculous. They dont tidy any thing up in there and its just a camp out for hordes of people, it should not be allowed.
