Here at DFB, we LOVE taking you with us as we drink around the World!
Since there are sooo many options to pick from, sometimes you want more than one drink. And although we’ve seen fish bowls like the Storm Chaser at Hurricane Hanna’s, The Seven Seas Lagoon at The Wave, and the Solar Eclipse Planet Bowl at Planet Hollywood, we’ve got an even BIGGER way to keep the drinks coming all night long in Disney Springs…
The Edison is bringing the party to your table with their PUNCH BOWL option! (Pinch us, we must be dreaming!!) Now, you can make certain cocktails off the menu into a punch bowl for $100 that you can share with your friends and family!
Seriously, it’s so big, you’re going to want to take a group with you to try it! We gathered our Orlando DFB team and their spouses (plus a couple of extra friends) to tackle the punch bowl. Although you can pick from the Green Electron, Time Turner, and Bad Miscalculation cocktails on the menu…
…we chose the Samatha Sterling made of Grey Goose Vodka, Lillet Rose, lime juice, watermelon juice, and cinnamon cordial (even the ingredients sound fabulous) to fill our punch bowl.
Of course we chose Samantha to pay tribute to one of our favorite former hang-outs, which happens to be the previous occupant of the space The Edison now fills — the Adventurers Club!
In case the name Samantha Sterling sounds familiar, you might remember her as one of the spunky adventurers from the club! The Adventurers Club was one of the most unique spots in Pleasure Island and we still miss it HEARTILY.
Each night, the club recruited new Adventurers Club members through an open house where guests could interact with the live actors and vote on the Adventurer of the Year! Samantha Sterling was one of the Adventurers Club members who had just returned from her explorations around the world. If that’s not cool enough, she also was a cabaret singer who could get the entire crowd involved in a song!
Thanks to our wonderful friends over at AllEars, we were able to use one of their photos to show you Samantha Sterling live in action! You can spot her smiling in the middle of the back row (thanks again, AllEars!!).
So, just like Samantha Sterling and the gang brought a lil adventure into our lives, this punch bowl was everything we had dreamed it would be!! They bring this massive thing to your table complete with glasses for everyone AND a punch bowl LADLE! (Note to self: have more drinks that require a ladle.)Â
The sterling (natch.) silver bowl held SO. MUCH. BOOZE. that we were able to just keep refilling our glasses. Plus, our Cast Member decided to make it extra pretty with its flowers, leaves, and citrus slice garnish (which obvi made our DFB party even better).
If you’re having trouble deciding what to fill your punch bowl with, we highly recommend the Samantha Sterling. Although the fruity flavors from the lime and watermelon juices stood out the most, they were wonderfully balanced with the Lillet Rose and vodka. Plus, the cinnamon cordial added a lil kick to each sip that we couldn’t resist!
Even though we thought the actual cocktail was sweet and refreshing, we loved that we basically had an entire punch bowl brought to our table. Name a better Instagram photo… (We’re waiting)…
You can get the punch bowl with Samantha Sterling (or something new!) at The Edison for $100. Sounds pricey, I know, but seeing as drinks at Disney World regularly run $12-18 each and we had multiple people at the table, this was similar to what we would have spent on a round of drinks otherwise. PLUS you get that fun punch bowl factor (and get to the be the envy of the restaurant, basically).
We think it’s a great way to chill out with your closest pals while you have good drinks, good eats, and a good time!!

This looks like a fun option for a big group. I’m thinking of getting the TIW card for our upcoming trip. Can it be used for this?
Thanks for all the great info!

I think this is such a cool thing! I wish more places would offer this kind of cocktail for a group. Maybe I will start lobbying my local bars and restaurants! Thanks! Love reading your reviews.

Angela, I don’t think the Edison takes TIW, tried in Dec but they continue to add restaurants so maybe when you get there they will? Would save $20 on this bad boy!

I have been able to get TIW discounts at Edison I’ve used it twice, was there a special or promo going on? they usually dont stack discounts.

About how many drinks do you think you got out of this?

About how many drinks does this hold?

One comment – just make sure you have a designated driver in your group! That looks like a lot of booze and I’m sure everyone will have multiple drinks. So if some of your group is driving, you still have to have one person (or two) who are the designated drivers and who are not drinking alcohol that evening. With a punch bowl that size you can easily drink more than you normally would. Not good! Won’t be much fun for the designated driver – but at least everyone will get back home safely and that’s the most important thing!

For those asking: we were told it’s the equivalent of ten drinks. But it seemed like more to our reporters.

Dang I miss the Adventurers club. Maybe with Joe Rode retiring he can whip up another adventurers club somewhere nearby wouldn’t that be awesome!!
