Ah, Disney World, you offer us an endless sea of tasty treats to enjoy when we visit your welcoming lands.
And today we encountered a treat we just had to try on our Disney-faring voyage! Check out our review of the new-to-us Oreo Trifle here!
The Oreo Trifle consists of layers of Oreo mousse, chocolate cake, and whipped cream topped with chocolate-coated crispy pearls, an Oreo cookie, and chocolate cookie crumbles! Sounds like all the makings for an awesome dessert to us!
Plus, this dessert comes in a handy, plastic cup — the perfect portable vessel! We love how you can see all the layers of this THING! But now we must take a sample of the Oreo Trifle, you know, for the sake of research!
The chocolate cake in there is super soft and moist. It literally falls apart and blends right into the mousse when you stir it. And the Oreo mousse really reminds us of “the Grey Stuff” from Be Our Guest Restaurant. While it might not be the exact same, it has a similar cookies ‘n cream flavor profile and texture to it — but we didn’t need an advance dining reservation to get our fix!
We found the Oreo Trifle for $5 or a Disney Dining Plan snack credit at The Market at Ale & Compass inside Disney’s Yacht Club! We do want to mention that the options in the case change from time to time, but hopefully, this little guy will be available on your vacay! Read our reviews of the insane Turtle Cinnamon Roll and adorable Nemo Cheesecake for other tasty Disney hotel snack suggestions!
