It’s “Bright Suns” indeed over on the west coast for the official opening of Rise of the Resistance in Disneyland’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
While Disney World has been enjoying the attraction for a month, the patience of the Batuu travelers in Disneyland has paid off because now they have THREE new other-worldly treats exclusive to Anaheim! And, we’re giving you a first look and taste of the cheesiest chips in the galaxy!
Although we’ve already tried the Black Spire Hot Chocolate and the Toydaria Swirl, now we’re ready to crunch on the new Galma Garlic Puffed Cheese Chips!
The chips are made with a base of tapioca flour and topped with white cheddar, parmesan cheese, and garlic! Even though Galma might be a spot in the Outer Rim for illegal pod races and droid fights, the only criminal thing about the Galma Garlic Puffed Cheese Chips is how PACKED with flavor they are!
There is so much cheesy flavor in these chips, but they’re still very light and crispy! Plus, the garlic adds a kick of spice that ties the whole savory snack together, almost like a balance in the Force. We do recommend grabbing some napkins and water too, since there is SO much cheese with the chips (we’re not complaining)!
Honestly, these chips are very similar if not the same as the garlic-flavored chips that they serve at Lucky Fortune Cookery.
The Galma Garlic Puffed Cheese Chips come in a decently sized bag their $6 price tag and are available from various drink carts located throughout Batuu.
Buuut, if you’re looking for something a bit sweeter, you can also try the addicting Chocolate Popcorn from Kat Saka’s Kettle (which is basically one of our favorite snacks EVER).

Are they gluten free? I’m feeling optimistic here
Amanda, cast members would not confirm they’re gluten free, but they did say they’re made with tapioca. So you might need to ask for the full ingredients list to confirm.
