And, we’re taking you with us to look at all the eats, merchandise, and entertainment that this year’s event has to offer!
Lunar New Year is running from January 17th through February 9th with a HUGE celebration in honor of the Year of the Rat. Or Year of the Mouse if you’re in DCA! 😉 With four marketplace booths, entertainment, and unique merchandise, it’s a wonderful way to ring in the new year!

Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession
Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession is returning to the festival this year and will be happening throughout the day!
Melody of China, a musical ensemble will be performing throughout the day here as well!
And just look how cute Mickey and Minnie look in their Lunar New Year outfits!!
Eats
Now, it’s time for the important stuff! Oh yeah, we’re talking food!
There are four official booths for the 2020 Lunar New Year Festival. We kicked things off by checking out the new and returning sips and eats at Longevity Noodle Co., which included a delicious Mochi Donut!!

Then, we made our way on over to Lucky 8 Lantern for a Peach Sojito and some bulgogi!

Wanna spice things up a bit? Then you should totally check out Red Dragon Spice Trader’s Firecracker Three Cup Chicken Wings!

Lastly, we made our way to Prosperity Bao & Buns to taste the new Lychee-Grapefruit Gin Spritzer. We liked the fruity flavors, even though they come on a little strong!
