Are you gearing up to explore Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure soon? Well, if you are you may wanna know that it looks like one of its newest attractions could be closing soon for refurbishment!
We noticed a change to the operating schedules that may indicate an upcoming refurbishment!
Jessie’s Critter Carousel, which opened less than one year ago in April of 2019, is possibly undergoing a brief refurbishment in late February. On Disneyland’s website, we noticed that there are currently no operating times reported for February 24, 2020.
The schedule continues to show the attraction as unavailable through March 3, 2020, which is as far out as the schedule currently extends.
While times could be added later, it typically means that an attraction will be going through a bit of a refurb when we see “No Times Available” on the Disney website.
If true, this refurbishment would add to the increasingly long list of scheduled refurbishments happening at the Disneyland Resort. We’ve recently reported on rides such as Snow White’s Scary Adventures, Indiana Jones Adventure, King Arthur Carrousel, and Haunted Mansion as all experiencing some sort of scheduled ‘down time’ in 2020.
Update: This attraction is now officially listed on Disney’s refurbishment page.

Or you can literally just see that it is listed under “Closed for Refurbishment” on the DCA hours page.
