Hey, everyone! We’re back again with another update. This time, we’re heading over to the Magic Kingdom.
There’s lots of construction and a cavalcade of merch and food to see, so let’s get started!
Magic Kingdom Food Updates
Confectionery
There a few new treats at the Confectionery, and that means new sweets that we get to try. There’s a new flavor for you Stitch Extreme Candy fans out there. You can now pick these up in Mike and Ike’s Mega Mix Sours for $6.29.
If that’s a little too sour for you, we also noticed that the Red Rose Cake Pops were actually in the display case this time around.
This delicious sweet is the best of both worlds thanks to its chocolate cake center and the fact that it has a sour candy belt wrapped around it. It’s then covered in white chocolate that’s been dyed red. You can pick one up for the love of your life, even if that’s yourself, for $4.29.

Finally, we found these Caramel Popcorn bags inspired by Cars for even more sweetness. It’s a caramel car for caramel popcorn! If you want a bag of these, it will cost you $5.99. While we’ve seen a few other popcorn bags with Cars packing, this was the first time we had noticed this one.
Casey’s Corner
Taking a stroll down to Casey’s Corner, we have some sad news indeed. The Loaded Corn Dog Nuggets were not being served today. We will be sure to let you know when and if these return to the menu.
And Casey’s has yet to put out another hot dog of the month since they added the Fried Pickle Hot Diggity Dog. If you’re like us, you’re anxiously awaiting the return of the Cheesy Hot Diggity Dog.
Plaza Restaurant
Over at the Plaza Restaurant, they’ve shaken things up a little bit. The lunch and dinner menus have been combined into one. Also, the breakfast menu is the only one offered until 10:45, but that’s not the worst part.
You remember those Extreme Milkshakes they had on the menu, like the Chocolate Extreme Shake that was absolutely swimming in chocolate? Unfortunately, as of right now, the Plaza will no longer be selling these masterpieces.

Aloha Isle
We trekked over to Aloha Isle because we heard that one of our favorite fruity drinks became even easier to get.
The Kakamora Float, which we here at DFB call heaven in a cup is a new addition to the Dole-Whip line. It was initially just a special holiday beverage for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party but a few weeks ago we noticed that they had continued serving it beyond the party.
Yesterday, we spotted the Kakamora Float on Mobile Order! We ordered one up pronto, and good thing we did too, because later in the day it was once again off Mobile Order. If it appears on Mobile Order again, we will be sure to let ya know.
Friar’s Nook
If you enjoyed the limited-time breakfast options at Friar’s Nook, don’t worry. We verified with a Cast Member that you can still order these yummy items in the morning. We don’t know how long they will be here, so order them while you can!

Magic Kingdom Construction Update
Main Street
City Hall continues its refurbishment. Last time we saw it, the exterior was partially covered in scrim and now it’s completely covered. Don’t worry, the inside’s still open for anything you need while the construction is going on.
Fantasyland
Over at “it’s a small world,” construction walls are up and it looks like the Standby and FastPass entrances are now in the same location.
At the train station, the Lilly Belle has been positioned here if you want to take a photo-op while the trains aren’t running due to the TRON Lightcycle Run construction. It’s expected that the Roy. O Disney will also be stationed here for a similar experience.
Lilly Belle recently had some mechanical work done on her during this downtime, which means she’ll hopefully be ready to go once TRON Lightcycle Run opens sometime in 2021 for Disney World’s 50th anniversary.

Tomorrowland
The Tomorrowland renovation continues throughout the land as some blockades have gone up around areas across from the Stitch’s Great Escape building. A Cast Member told us that they believe the construction crews are working on the ground and concrete currently.
That’s not all that’s happening in Tomorrowland, of course, as work continues on the highly-anticipated TRON Lightcycle Run. They are continuing the build the exterior walls, which is really exciting. We can’t wait to ride this when it opens sometime in 2021 for the 50th!

Magic Kingdom Merchandise Update
The Emporium
They’ve moved some of the stock around inside of the Emporium and updated displays throughout the store.
For the Princess in your life, we spotted this new Aurora youth t-shirt featuring her and her animal friends for $24.99.
If you’re more interested in taking a light snooze, they have a new Sleepy shirt for $24.99.
That prankster Loki has also got a new shirt of his own that would be great for St. Patrick’s Day. This can be yours for $24.99.
We also found this tumbler inspired by Finding Nemo and all we can say is mine, mine, mine. This cool tumbler will cost you $22.99.
The Confectionary
Back inside the sweet shop, we saw this Pixar cup covered in all our favorite characters. From Woody all the way through Nemo and Miguel, almost all of Pixar’s incredible animated films are represented here. You can drink with your Pixar pals for $14.99.
Uptown Jewelers
There are two new jewelry sets over at Uptown Jewelers, one for Minnie and one for Marie. The Minnie set includes a floral-inspired necklace and bracelet.
The necklace is $24.99, while the bracelet is $19.99.
The Marie set also comes with a necklace and bracelet that fit right in with the feline’s chic personality.
The necklace is $24.99, while the bracelet will cost you $19.99. Both of these jewelry sets would make a great Valentine’s Day gift, hint, hint.
That’s going to wrap up this update on what’s new at the Magic Kingdom. Don’t forget to check back as will have more details on what’s new around the Disney Parks soon.
