Disney World has been buzzing with excitement over Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure as it nears its completion (especially when the Gusteau’s sign and attraction marquee were all lit up). And, now that the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along is open, folks have been flocking in droves to see it. Buuuut there hasn’t been much talk about the other major upgrade coming soon to the France Pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase.
And, while Epcot’s Space 220 Restaurant (which is also making some progress) and Regal Eagle Smokehouse are never far from people’s minds, La Crêperie de Paris hasn’t received equal billing…UNTIL NOW!
Somehow in the hustle and bustle of the Epcot Transformation, some of the MOST important details about La Crêperie de Paris got lost! But don’t worry. We haven’t forgotten any of them!
Find out more about the Epcot transformation HERE!
For instance, did you know La Crêperie de Paris, which is set to open in 2021, is BOTH a Table-Service AND Quick-Service restaurant? IT IS! That means in addition to chowing down on fine French food and beverages at Chefs de France and Monsieur Paul, there will now be a third Table-Service option in France!
But the restaurant will also feature a Quick-Service counter for folks who prefer their French food fast! We’re expecting it will be a similar situation to the Italy Pavilion’s Via Napoli restaurant and the Pizza al Tagglio pizza window, which share a kitchen. Some of our recent fav foods have come from quick service windows like Pizza al Tagglio, such as the tasty Fried Arancini Balls you could snag without an advance dining reservation!
Our minds are reeling trying to guess what French hits will make the cut for this location! And recently, we’ve even seen them testing French hard ciders in France’s Pavilion for possible use in the Crêperie! YUM! Disney hasn’t released its menus yet for La Crêperie de Paris, but we’ll let you know the second they do!
And, while Disney hasn’t yet shared La Crêperie de Paris’s menu, they have stated the restaurant will draw its inspiration from the Brittany region of France! They’ve also told us that we can expect savory crêpes called “galettes” and sweet crêpes among its offerings! A galette in France is often associated with sweet cakes, BUT it also refers to savory pancakes typically made with buckwheat or potato, often called a “breton galette”; so we’re excited to see what savory offerings they come up with for the new spot.
Now that the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along is officially open and the fully-remastered Impressions de France has returned to the Palais de Cinema, it seems the France Pavilion is inching ever closer to its completion. And, La Crêperie de Paris has also started to show plenty of progress towards its 2021 debut with the sign recently being placed in front of the restaurant as construction moves forward.
We can’t wait for La Crêperie de Paris to open, but in the meantime, you can still “get your crêpe on” at the crêpe stand located in the France Pavilion. We’re not entirely sure if it will continue to operate once The Crêperie opens or if it will serve something else, but we’ll be monitoring it closely (by ordering LOTS of crêpes, that is!).
See how the pros do it at France Pavilion’s crêpe stand here!

Well I assume they will be a step above Aristocrepes which are very good themselves, so I am excited, especially for counter/table service options. Plus a window so this sounds really good and adds more flexibility but also difficulty of not just whether to eat there but where to stop as they have sooo many great places to eat/drink in the pavilion.

I remember when there used to be a restaurant where Tony’s is and they used to have crepes in the menu

Oh crap, the Crepe’s won’t be open when I’m there in April. At least I have an ADR for Le Chefs de France for the night I’m at EPCOT. See what I did there? LOL

Having spent a couple years in Brittany, I’m super excited for this place to open! We need more Breton crêperies on this side of the pond.

I wish you would stop posting articles stating what you’re doing, what you’re watching, that “folks are flocking in droves” to ANYTHING, when we all know the parks are closed.
