Hey, everyone, we’re back with another update from Epcot!
There’s a lot of construction to see as Epcot continues it’s ongoing transformation of Future World and additions to World Showcase, but we’ve also got some food and merch updates for ya. Let’s get started!
Epcot Food Updates
Sunshine Seasons
Sunshine Seasons has added a Bacon Cheeseburger to the menu for $13.49. It’s served on a brioche bun and comes with a side of potato chips.
Sunshine Seasons has a great variety of food, but if you just want a good, old-fashioned burger, then this will be a welcome sight for you. This addition is likely due to the fact that Electric Umbrella is set to close soon and the park will be lacking classic American food options.
Lotus Blossom Cafe
In the China pavilion, the Lotus Blossom Cafe has a few specials for the Chinese New Year. The Chef’s Special comes with two Potstickers, either Orange Chicken or Mongolian Beef, and Chicken Fried Rice for $15.98. You can also get a Honeydew Boba Tea for $6.98.

Epcot Construction Updates
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
We’re looking forward to riding Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind when it opens in 2021 for Disney World’s 50th anniversary. Construction is progressing on the facade of the attraction that will turn the former Universe of Energy into the galaxarium.
Read more about Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind here!
Space 220
Another anticipated opening in Future World is the Space 220 restaurant that will take us for an out-of-this-world eating experience, literally! It looks like an additional wall has gone up outside Mission: SPACEÂ as construction on the exterior continues to progress.
We’re anticipating the opening of Space 220! Read all about it here!
Next door at Test Track, the refurbishment work continues on the entrance to the attraction. You can expect to test drive your sim cars again on February 26th.
Read all about the refurbishments happening around Disney World here!
Taste Track
Now we make tracks over to the site of the returning Taste Track. This on-again/off-again kiosk will be soon be serving up some classic theme park fare, like burgers and chicken tenders, to make up for the closing of Electric Umbrella.
Find out when Taste Track should open again here!!
The Seas with Nemo and Friends
Over at The Seas with Nemo and Friends, they’ve installed new signs for the Shark World, Ocean Life, and Manatees viewing areas. The signs look slick and clean, and they even feature the old Living Seas emblem!
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
If you hop aboard the Skyliner, you can get a good view of the exterior work happening on Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. This attraction is scheduled to open this summer and we can hardly wait to scuttle around with Remy in this trackless adventure.
Check out the Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure sign that was recently installed here!
Regal Eagle
The sign for the Regal Eagle Smokehouse has been installed, but it’s still covered up. Lights have also been placed on either side of the sign. We’re ready for some of that delicious barbecue courtesy of our good friend Sam the Eagle from the Muppets.
Check out the FULL Regal Eagle menu here!
Pizza al Taglio
If you’re a fan of the pizza-on-the-go from Pizza al Taglio in the Italy pavilion, we have good news for you. The walk-up window is set to open again on March 14th. We can’t wait to get our hands on more Arancini!
Germany Pavilion
We could spend a good few minutes with a pretzel and beer watching the trains roll by in Germany, and it looks like they’ve added some new banners in the model town for Festival of the Arts.
Epcot Merchandise Updates
Mouse Gear
At the temporary Mouse Gear location, we found some awesome items sporting the Fab 5 on them. We’ve seen some of this merch on the west coast at Disneyland, and now it seems it’s made its way to Florida. There’s a youth sleeveless hoodie with da boys on it for $34.99.
They’re also on this drawstring backpack for $19.99.
You can also get this t-shirt with a Fab 5 and colorful polka dot pattern for $36.99.
There’s also a handful of merchandise for just Mickey and Minnie. You can get them together on this gray shirt for $36.99.
Mickey’s making all kinds of faces on this yellow shirt for $36.99.
Mickey’s going nowhere fast on this mug, which we’ve seen around the World, for $14.99.
You can walk the walk with these Mickey sneakers for $39.99.
Or you can have Minnies in every color of the rainbow on this shirt for $34.99.
Minnie also has her own mug where she strikes some poses for the camera. This can be yours for $14.99.
Sea Base Alpha Shop
At the Sea Base Alpha shop, there are some new items featuring the seagulls from Finding Nemo shouting about how hangry they are. You can get it on a towel for $19.99.
There’s also a onesie for your special little eater for $19.99. All we can say is mine, mine, mine.
Germany Pavilion
At a Festival of the Arts merch booth in Germany, we found these beautiful paintings of some of our favorite Disney characters, including the Orange Bird. These paintings seem to range depending on the artist, but one of the Orange Bird’s was going for $39.99.
You can also find face painting throughout World Showcase, and now they are offering some Festival of the Arts options. Most of the designs cost $20, but if you like the cubist approach, it will cost you $25.

If you wanted to get your hands on a Skyliner popcorn bucket but missed out, don’t worry. On our excursion today, we noticed that there were plenty in stock at various locations around the park.

Steven in NJ says
I love the Pop Art face painting! Looks best on a “bald dad” I guess! Meanwhile, it appears that the entire one side of EPCOT Future World is under construction, from Guardians, to Mission, Space 220, Test Track, and so on… good thing I want to spend most my time at EPCOT traveling “around the World” — of course, I’d want to see the new stuff but GOTG won’t be finished this year and I probably won’t be able to get an ADR for Space 220.

So pleased the Skyliner popcorn buckets are back in stock. Are they refillable does anyone know?
