We’ve loved the oasis in Disneyland’s Adventureland that is Tropical Hideaway since it first opened a little over a year ago!
If you’re not familiar, Tropical Hideaway is a bright and colorful spot that combines SO MANY Dole Whip options with some tasty small bites, nestled on the banks of the Jungle Cruise. Not to mention, you have a chance to find out whatever happened to that pesky cockatoo from the Enchanted Tiki Room, Rosita, here! It’s a great spot to relax and grab a small provision to snack on. And NOW, they have a new snack to choose from!
When Tropical Hideaway first opened, you could pick up a selection of steamed Bao buns, a few pre-packaged chilled options like Ramen Noodles, and, one of our favorites, the Sweet Pineapple Lumpia!
We really enjoyed the Pineapple Lumpia at Tropical Hideaway! These crispy spring rolls are rolled in sugar, stuffed with sweetened cream cheese, and served with a delicious pineapple dipping sauce. So imagine our delight when we noticed they had added a ANOTHER kind of Lumpia to the menu!
Introducing the Pork Lumpia! For $6.99 you’ll receive 2 spring rolls roughly the size as their pineapple counterparts. These are filled with ground pork and vegetables and fried nice and crispy.
The Lumpia tasted great! These pork spring rolls were fresh, crispy, and well seasoned. The only problem we found was how quickly we ate them! They’re a relatively small serving considering the price and they can be gobbled up before you know it!
They’re served with a sweet chili sauce that isn’t all that different from a standard dipping sauce you’d find for egg or spring rolls outside of Disneyland. It’s sweet with just a tiny bit of heat. They go very well with the Lumpia!
If you’re looking for a light snack while in Adventureland, this is a great option to try! Now we’re going to have a tough time deciding which of the two flavors of Lumpia to grab when we’re here getting our Dole Whip fix in Disneyland!

I don’t see the pineapple lumpia on the menu anymore. Did they remove it? Was really looking forward to trying it next trip.
