Hey, guys, we’re trekking over to a few resorts today to give you another update from Disney World.
There’s some new food and merchandise to check out at Animal Kingdom Lodge, Caribbean Beach, and the Riviera Resort, as well as a few refurbishments. Let’s get started!
Animal Kingdom Lodge Food Update
Uzima Springs Pool Bar
Over by the pool, there’s a new drink that’s great for relaxing on a lawn-chair after a long day. The African Sunset is comprised of mango rum, African Starr rum, and a mixture of mango and strawberry purée, with a strawberry garnish to cap the whole thing off.
We thought it was pretty delicious and fruity. You can grab one yourself for $15.

If many doesn’t tickle your fancy, they’re also servin’ up the Flamingo Mule and the Safari Mudslide.
Animal Kingdom Lodge Construction Update
It looks like there’s some paintwork happening to the exterior of the lodge outside of Jiko. Gotta love a fresh coat of paint!
Animal Kingdom Lodge Merchandise Update
Zawadi Marketplace
The Mickey Mouse Club Mousketeer Hat cardholder has made its way over to Zawadi Marketplace. This is part of a larger collection that includes Star Wars, the Haunted Mansion, and even a Mickey Ice Cream Bar! You can grab this cardholder for $14.99.
Check out MORE of these fun cardholders here! Â
The Ink and Paint series pen has also arrived at the lodge. This is part of a vintage collection that was originally spotted in Disneyland. If you want to add this to your set of writing tools, it will cost you $32.99.
Check out the entire Ink & Paint collection here!Â
We found these two puffy animal print key-chains that you can take on the go. One has more of a spotted design, similar to a cheetah.
We hope this other one is based on zebra stripes instead of a skunk! 😉
Both of these key-chains are $9.99.
Caribbean Beach Food Update
Centertown Market Grab & Go
Yesterday, we did a review on the new Cinderella Cheesecake at the Centertown Market Grab & Go that they have for the 70th anniversary of the film’s release.
This interesting sweet treat looks like it’s ready for a ball. You can try it for yourself for $5.49.

Caribbean Beach Merchandise Update
Calypso Trading Post
At the Calypso Trading Post, they now have the Rainbow Minnie t-shirt. This thing has been popping up everywhere!
We also found two coffee mugs that are new to us. They feature Minnie Mouse and Tinker Bell, both in color and black and white.
The designs that are colored in have this embossed texture that creates a cool 3D effect. Both of these mugs cost $14.99.
Riviera Resort Food Update
Vivoli il Gelato Cart
If you’re a fan of Vivoli il Gelato at Disney Springs, there’s a resort-exclusive flavor that you can find at their cart at the Riviera Resort. Feast your eyes on the Blue Magic!
That blue goodness is cotton-candy flavored! You can get a mini scoop for $5.50, a single scoop for $6.50, and a double scoop for $7.50. You can also add sprinkles on top for an extra dollar.
