Hey, everybody! It’s time for another roundup of What’s New at Magic Kingdom!
We’re here on Main Street, U.S.A. before all sorts of villainous characters return to take over the joint this Friday! That’s right, DFB fiends, Disney Villains After Hours is coming back! Luckily for us, there are no baddies in sight at the moment, though! Such a relief! 😉
And while we didn’t run into any Disney villainy yet, we did spot the MVP of Super Bowl LIV, Patrick Mahomes! He was at the Magic Kingdom yesterday celebrating his big Super Bowl victory! GO CHIEFS!!!
Check out how the Super Bowl celebration went down at Magic Kingdom yesterday HERE!
Food Update at Magic Kingdom
Aloha Isle
Holy smokes, you guys! We knew what a hit Disney World had on its hands with the Kakamora Float when we first laid eyes on it at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! It was love at first bite! And while we were equally ecstatic to get our hands on this party-exclusive well AFTER the holidays had ended at Disney World during normal park hours, it seems a lot of other folks have been to!
Read our review of the Kakamora Float HERE!
Until now, the only way to enjoy the coconutty soft-serve goodness of the Kakamora Float was to wait in line, but that was so yesterday! Now, you can now mobile order your Kakamora Float from Aloha Isle! But be warned — the line for mobile order can sometimes be as long as the regular line, so be on the lookout!

Big Top Souvenirs and Big Top Treats
Not much is has been happening under the Big Top these days! For reasons unknown, the Storybook Circus Big Top has once again closed its doors until further notice.
Read more about Big Top’s sudden unscheduled closure here!
We’ll keep an eye on Big Top Souvenirs and Big Top Treats and let you know once it’s open again! Until then, you can find many of the same goodies and merch at the Emporium and Main Street Confectionery!
Multiple Locations
Guess who’s back? The Red Mickey Balloon Popcorn Bucket has returned to the Magic Kingdom! We saw it at several popcorn carts throughout the Magic Kingdom yesterday! Welcome back, old friend!
Find out more about the Red Mickey Balloon Popcorn Bucket!
A Cast Member we spoke with told us these and the Mickey and Minnie Balloon Popcorn Buckets have a tendency to vanish and reappear, so if you don’t see them right away, check back!
And speaking of disappearances, the Celebration Mickey Donut is STILL M.I.A.! We don’t have a good feeling about this favorite snack of ours being gone for so long, but we’re holding out hope it will magically reappear (fingers crossed!).

Construction Update at Magic Kingdom
Next, we’re swinging by TRON: Lightcycle Power Run to check out how it’s progressing. While previously we’ve seen the exterior track completed, more walls are now going up on the show building!
Since its structure is being enclosed, this new attraction is looking a little more complete every day! But there’s still a lot of work to be done before TRON: Lightcycle Power Run opens sometime in 2021!

Merchandise Update at Magic Kingdom
And now it’s time to talk about all the new gear we’ve been eyeballing at the Magic Kingdom’s gift shops! And while we’ll have to wait until Friday to score our Disney Villains After Hours swag, here’s what you can get your hands on right this sec!
Uptown Jewelers
We couldn’t keep our paws off this adorable Lady and the Tramp Necklace for $125! We highly approve of fashion statement pieces like this one — especially when they involve Disney pooches and spaghetti!
Star Traders
Originally we spotted the new Ink & Paint Collection at Disneyland, but now we’ve begun to see it trickling into Disney World — including this adorable Ink & Paint Magnet Set for $24.99!
See the rest of the Ink & Paint merchandise we’ve spotted so far HERE!
But while we’ve already seen many of the new Ink & Paint items, yesterday was our first brush with the new Ink & Paint Minnie Ears! You better believe these totally made the trip home with us! We’re highly susceptible to cuteness, and these things were off-the-charts adorable! Grab yours from Star Traders today for $29.99!
Find out more details about the Ink & Paint Minnie Ears HERE!
And while many folks have already moved on to Arendelle Aqua and Belle of the Ball Bronze, the bond is still strong between us and our Briar Rose Gold Minnie Ears! If you’re still a fan of the classic color fad, we think you’ll get a kick out of this new Rose Gold Mickey Phone Case for $34.99!
And we’re ALL ABOUT this new Walt Disney World Fanny Pack we just discovered for $24.99! We love to keep our hands free while park hopping — you know, so we can hold onto hot dogs, Dole Whips, and Mickey pretzels! And nothing helps you achieve vacation goals quite as effectively as a bum bag!
Especially one that’s so stylish and roomy as this one!
Plus, we love the retro-inspired graphic of the castle with a rainbow! It reminds us of something we owned in the 80s!
Emporium
For the doggos, we scoped out this new-to-us Monsters, Inc. Dog Collar for $17.99!
We love how the design features both Mike and Sulley — perfect for our little furry beasts back at home! We sure hope they’re staying out of trouble (but we highly doubt it!).
And to us, this new Mickey Hat gives us total Mario vibes…it’s probably the giant M on the front.
But it’s definitely a Mickey Hat — he’s hanging out on the back! You can pick this guy up for $27.99!
And while we’ve been loving the new Redd Minnie Ears and Loungefly Bags that have come out recently, today we spotted these adorable Pirates of the Caribbean Socks for $14.99 featuring the ginger lady pirate herself!
Well, one of the socks, at least! These are those funky-style mismatched socks, so each one is a different design!
The other sock in the set is the lovable dog from the classic Disney attraction holding the key in his mouth! Over here, boy! Just a little closer!Â

Hi! The Kakamora float reminds me, do they sell the iced coffee floats in MK (or any park) anymore? It’s been a few years, but I think I used to get them at Aloha Isle and Auntie Gravity’s. I went to both places when we visited MK in November and couldn’t find them. Bummer! (Kakamora looks really good, though…)
