Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another What’s New at Epcot!
We’ve got plenty of merchandise and construction updates to share with you, so let’s dive right on in!
Epcot Construction Updates
Fountain View
The Epcot Transformation is officially underway with SO MANY exciting new attractions, restaurants, and more coming to the park! While Fountain View and the original Mouse Gear are both closed off for some major revamps, we can’t wait to see the redesigned entrance to Future World when it opens back up!
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind!
While Future World is getting redesigned, the Guardians of the Galaxy Coaster will take us on a high-speed adventure through the cosmos when the attraction opens in 2021! The indoor roller coaster will have a reverse launch into space (!!!) and 360-degree movement as the story follows the Guardians on another awesome adventure! Although we will have to wait another year before it opens, we’re super excited to see more progress made on the attraction each time we visit the park.
Mission: SPACE
Even though we aren’t entirely sure what it’s for, there’s a small bit of construction happening near Mission: SPACE (Maybe it has to do with Space 220??)! But, we can say that we’re totally in the mood to hop on the X-2 Deep Space Shuttle for a slingshot around the planet! ;D
Regal Eagle
Regal Eagle should be opening any day now for guests to enjoy some barbecue and burgers, on top of a visit from Sam Eagle himself! The construction is almost complete, and we can’t wait to take you with us to try the new restaurant when it opens its doors to hungry guests! BBQ, here we come!!
Epcot Merchandise Updates
Gateway Gifts
Even if you aren’t traveling around the World Showcase, you can still take Epcot home with you! The Epcot 2020 D-Tech Phone Case features bright, primary colors and Spaceship Earth for $29.99. And, it’s just too cute!!
While the Youth Minnie Mouse Spirit Jersey isn’t new, we’re LOVING the newly designed version! Although the old one featured Minnie’s face on the front and her name on the back, the new one has a silhouette of Minnie…
…and “Minnie Walt Disney World” on the back for $44.99.
Mouse Gear
If you can’t get enough of Minnie (we can’t), then you might want to add the adorable Winking Minnie Shirt to your collection!
The back features big, white polka dots (just like Minnie’s iconic skirt!)…
…and the sleeve has her sweet signature for $36.99.
And, the Winking Minnie Shirt would pair perfectly with the Minnie Bow Leggings for $39.99, so you can look as stylish as ever!
Even if the day gets a little colder, you can still channel your inner Minnie with the Women’s Minnie Short-Sleeve Hooded Pullover…
…with Minnie Mouse ears and a bow on the hood for $39.99! It’s like a sweater and a pair of ears all built into one!!
And, you can even get the whole family in on the fashion craze with the matching Mickey and Minnie Jackets! Your little princes can don the Boys’ Mickey Jacket…
…with a Mickey ear hood…
…and Mickey’s iconic handprints on the sleeves!
And, your little princess can look as cute as a button in the Girls’ Minnie Jacket for $46.99!
Mom can look just as mouse-tastic in her own Women’s’ Minnie Jacket…
…with that same Minnie ear and bow hood for $64.99!
Speaking of Minnie bows, the Girls’ Run the World Shirt has a tie-dye background with a sequin bow. Buuut, the surprise is that the bow can be switched to a different design by rubbing your hand across it…
…so it looks like Minnie’s old-fashioned blue bow for $29.99.
And, you can keep empowering your young girls with the “Okay But First” Castle Sweatshirt! Let them know that they should dream big (even if they say they want a castle ;D) for $34.99.
We’re not surprised how much we love Mickey and Minnie, but the Raised Letter Shirts add a little flair to the sweet design! You can either wear the Minnie Raised Letter Shirt…
…or the Mickey Raised Letter Shirt for $19.99 for kids and $24.99 for adults. And, if you purchase two, they’re only $22.00 each for adults!
Disney Traders
We were SO EXCITED that Bo Peep made her return in Toy Story 4! We can’t help but feel inspired by her feisty and independent attitude (you go, girl). And, now your kiddos can too with the Girls’ Bo Peep “I’m in Charge” Shirt for $19.99!
We’ve found the jackets to end all jackets, friends!! The Mickey Mouse Puff Vest is cozy, warm…
…and pretty iconic (if we say so ourselves) for $46.99.
It might be February, but you can already start stocking up on Christmas ornaments for this year! And, you can include the Fab Five in your decorations with the Oh Boy! Ornament Collection for $34.99! We’re feeling just as excited about the ornaments as our favorite friends look tbh.
While we love bright colors, we are also suckers for some sweet pastel tones!! So, the Girls’ Pastel Winking Mickey Leggings are the PERFECT addition to any wardrobe…
…with rhinestones around the ears as a fabulous accent for $24.99.
And, they can match with the adorable Girls’ Pastel Winking Mickey Sweatshirt for $34.99…
…and the Girls’ Pastel Winking Mickey Shirt for $24.99!
Even though it’s time to Rock the Dots in the parks, we’re ALL about the Minnie bows with the Girls’ “It’s All About the Bows” Tank! While the front features sparkly red bows…
…the back has “It’s All About the Bows” etched onto the back for $24.99.
Village Traders
If you’re looking for a great Valentine’s gift for your special someone, you can pick up the new-to-us light blue Mickey Button-Down Shirt for $59.99! Um, we are digging the little flowers in the design!!
France Pavilion
With the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along finally open in the France Pavilion, we can’t help but feel as hungry as ever watching “Be Our Guest” on the big screen. And, you can think about all the French eats and treats you want with the French Food Shirt! After you pick it up for $29.99, you can head to Les Halles to grab some Bubbly, Croissants, Chocolate, and Baguettes! Bon Appétit, friends!! 😉
Well, that’s all for this What’s New at Epcot! We’ll catch you next time with more construction and merchandise updates!
