If you love food, drinks, or Disney, you won’t want to miss out on this upcoming event in Walt Disney World!
For the past 10 years, Walt Disney World’s Swan and Dolphin Hotel has celebrated cultures around the world at the Annual Food and Wine Classic through entertainment, tastings, and seminars. We just got the dates and deets to help you join in at the ELEVENTH annual event this fall!
Mark your calendars because the 2020 Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic is scheduled for Friday, November 6 and Saturday, November 7!
Similar to the 2019 Food and Wine Classic, the event will feature The Causeway and Seminars to enjoy.
The Causeway
The Causeway serves as the hub of the event featuring a street party festival with live entertainment, drinks and wine from around the world, and UNLIMITED (!!!) tastings from the hotel’s culinary team. Enjoy sampling your way through six different themed areas, where you’re sure to find something to love!
In the past, The Causeway has been home dishes including Brown Butter Poached Main Lobster on a Toasted Brioche Bun, George’s Bank Sea Scallops, with Wild Chanterelle, Cashew Romaesco, and Navel Orange Beurre Blanc, and Shake & Bake Style Southern Fried Chicken, Black-Eyed Pea Puree, White Cheddar Fondue, and Bacon Infused Roast Garlic Gravy.
Although the menus have not been released yet, we expect to see familiar dishes return to several of the food areas this year.
Carnival Corner, Chinatown, and The Pig & Poke
We are expecting to see the return of Carnival Corner, Chinatown, and The Pig & Poke so we can’t wait to see which of our favorite treats will return and what new items they may dream up!
For the young at heart, head to Carnival Corner where we have spotted Mac and Cheese and Funfetti Fried Oreos in years past.
In Chinatown, we are hoping to see the return of Yu Chen’s Crispy Duck and the Shanghai Dumpling, which have kept us coming back for more previous Classics.
If you’re in the mood for something more tropical, try out something from The Pig & Poke. We have seen savory items like Kalua Pork or Tuna Poke in addition to sweeter options like tropical-flavored Shaved Ice.
Hang Ten
If you don’t get your seafood fill from Poke, try out Hang Ten for a delicious take on classic seafood. In the past, we’ve enjoyed the Fry Basket with clams, shrimp, oysters, and fries.
The Beer Garden
For a wide variety of ciders and beers from across the country, check out The Beer Garden. In addition to their extensive drink options, they have featured spruced up comfort foods like Chicken Wings, Wagyu Sloppy Joes, and Bavarian Pretzels with Mustard and Lager Beer Sauce.
The delicious food is only the beginning of the Food and Wine Classic! You can personalize your event experience through a variety of seminars too!
Seminars
If you want to practice your chef skills and WOW your future dinner guests, you can add on hands-on educational seminars to your event package.
Choose among ten different seminars to try your hand at everything from wine pairing, crafting cocktails, or brewing beers, to making fresh pasta or sushi.
Check our Seminars page for pricing and details.
Sunday Bubbles Brunch
There has not been an official announcement yet, but as in years past, we are expecting the return of the Sunday Bubbles Brunch at Il Mulino New York Trattoria.
We will be sure to keep you updated as soon as details are released!
Tickets and More
Tickets for one night of the Causeway only are $155 per person! This price includes the Beer Garden upgrade again this year!
A La Carte ticket booklets containing 25 tickets will be available for purchase at the event for $75. These tickets are perfect for those with a lighter appetite or for underage guests. Offerings range from two to six tickets per item.
