Things really seem to be on the up and up at the Disney parks lately!
And while usually, that’s a good thing, the same isn’t necessarily true when we’re talkin’ about PRICES!
This morning we shared with you the Disneyland Resort’s ticket costs and Annual Passholder memberships had just been raised (click here to see how much deeper you’ll have to dig into your pockets!).
But that’s not all! Disney has also raised the price of its MaxPass ticket add-on feature. If you’re unfamiliar with MaxPass, think of it like Disney World’s FastPass feature combined with PhotoPass. Since Disneyland still offers paper FASTPASSES for many of its attractions, adding MaxPass to your ticket allows you to reserve ride times for select attraction with your phone and enables you to receive your PhotoPass photos for the days you’ve purchased MaxPass!
Previously, MaxPass was an additional $15 a day, but starting today, MaxPass will now cost you $20 per day. If you still think having MaxPass is a good value and worth shelling out a few extra bucks, remember you can now purchase MaxPass using Apple Pay through the Disneyland app.

And since we now know Disneyland’s Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run will soon be offering FASTPASS, having MaxPass will be one of the quickest, easiest ways to snag ’em! And don’t forget — also starting today you can now make FASTPASS selections for Autopia at Disneyland Park and Monsters, Inc. Mike and Sulley to the Rescue at Disney California Adventure!
