We just learned about Annual Pass increases at both Disney World and Disneyland, but another quiet increase has also happened.
And it’s a ticket option many guests choose to add on to their Disney World vacations.
While you may be shelling out a couple bucks more now for a new Annual Pass in Disney World, many guests will likely be affected by the increase in Disney World’s Park Hopper Add-on.Â
Park Hopper allows guests to enter all four Disney World Theme Parks (with the additional option to add on water park access and more) each day that they have a valid ticket. The increases can be seen below.
Previous Park Hopper Pricing:
- $60 per ticket for 1-day tickets
- $70 per ticket for 2 to 3-day tickets
- $80 per ticket for 4 to 10-day tickets
- $80 per ticket for 1-day tickets
- $90 per ticket for 2 to 3-day tickets
- $100 per ticket for 4 to 10-day tickets
There appears to have been a $5 increase on all Park Hopper options, which can be seen below.
New Park Hopper Pricing:
- $65 per ticket for 1-day tickets
- $75 per ticket for 2 to 3-day tickets
- $85 per ticket for 4 to 10-day tickets
- $85 per ticket for 1-day tickets
- $95 per ticket for 2 to 3-day tickets
- $105 per ticket for 4 to 10-day tickets
It’s also important to note that Disney’s new NBA Experience in Disney Springs has also been added to Park Hopper Plus tickets.
While this change is relatively small, it is still an increase that can affect your family and your trip planning. We’ll keep you posted if we learn of any more price increases at Disney World.

Janet says
Base ticket prices have risen (quite a bit) for certain dates as well. For example, the 9 day park hoppers we purchased two weeks ago for our Oct trip have now gone up by $66.
Julie says
These ticket prices are getting out of control. Soon no families will be able to afford to go there! I don’t understand why Disney has to be so greedy. Maybe, if they cut the amount of all the top management paychecks/bonuses/golden parachutes, they could leave ticket prices alone for a couple years.
Not so magical anymore…
Steve in NJ says
At this rate, a family of 4 will need to spend $1 million to go to WDW. I’m afraid, my April 2020 trip will be my last. We can’t afford their prices anymore!!!! Reminds me of the movie “Escape from LA” where Disneyland is a wasteland from going bankrupt.
Lloyd Seibert says
Universal studios seems to be in our future instead of. WDW. Seems that WDW only wants more money than the average family can afford.
Heidi says
I too think I will not be able to travel to WDW in the future – what business model are they using? Those PH increases are around 10% – I get a 2% pay increase if I am lucky! Walt’s whole premise for Disney Parks was a family-friendly, AFFORDABLE vacation! While I appreciate updates and new attractions, I would readily forego those for a trip I could pay for.
Keith says
Another money grab. Really getting out of hand,no,it has been out of hand for a long time now! I think I will be selling my interest in the vacation club and will vacation in Hershey Park from now on!
Roger says
Have been DVC for years and years , time to reconsider and cash in before the Disney bubble hits . It is coming .
Margaret Zukoski says
The greed is incredible, and it will never stop unless people refuse to pay those prices. Even if you could afford it, is this really where you want to spend your hard earned money? There are other vacation places that the whole family would enjoy.
Jo Forzono says
With this new price increase we are changing our mind on a Disney vacation this year . I was struggling with the past price this increase put us over our budget. We have decided to take the kids to Washington DC to see something educational, maybe we might get to see President Trump! Goodbye Mickey!
Cheryl sebaska says
They are out pricing the little ones that truly enjoy it. We are paying for future construction.Have visited to WDW or Disneyland since the 70’s but this year will be my last..
Dee Dee Nance says
Wow. Isn’t this the third price increase in tickets in less than a year. Ouch. Gonna get to the point that us middle income families can no longer afford to go. As it is, I have to save up for 2 years just to go back “home.”
Marisa Mize says
Going this year for the first time for my boys and planning to take my baby girl (6mos) when she’s older, but that’s probably it. There are other places in the world.
Brenda Painter says
My family has visited wdw over 50 times.. obviously we love the place but it is now out of control..a very sad day for us ..it breaks my heart that I will be unable to see my great grandaughters reaction through the years as she grows up..wake up disney..not what walt would approve
