If it were up to us Walt Disney World’s theme parks would never close!
For guests visiting this April, we have some good news for ya! Park hours have been extended at Disney’s Magic Kingdom!
That’s right, you can ride Space Mountain into the wee hours of the night because from April 1st through 4th the park hours have been extended to 10:00 PM from the previous 9:00 PM. Additionally, Extra Magic Hours on April 1st have now extended until 12:00 AM.
Let’s have a look at the calendar…
This sounds great for all you night owls out there! We say bring it on Disney! Per usual, we’ll keep you posted on any other extended hours we catch wind of.
Disney has recently extended hours in Hollywood Studios, as well! Check out those NEW hours here!Â

Hey Guys!
I need clarification on Park Hours. Extra Magic Hours (at any park) are JUST for those staying at a WDW Resort right? Extended Park Hours are for everyone, right? If the Magic Kingdom closes at 10 pm instead of 9:00 pm, does that mean that the fireworks are an hour later too? We have 8:00 pm ADR at California Grill and was planning to see fireworks from restaurant. Of course, if the park is open after dinner, we can always monorail back into the park for another hour, right? Thanks!

Steven, Extra Magic Hours are just for Disney Resort or Disney Springs Area Resort guests. But you’re right that if a park extends its operating hours, that applies for everyone. I think (and I’ll update if I’m wrong) Happily Ever After will proceed at its regular time (9PM). And yes, you can Monorail (or walk!) right on over from Contemporary if the park is still open. Sounds like a magical night — enjoy!
