We’re already trying to plan our next holiday outing at Disney World. Here’s a little hint: it involves a lot of green!
That’s right, you lucky folks who’re going to Disney World for St. Patrick’s Day! If there’s a spot to hit up for this verdant holiday (besides the United Kingdom pavilion at Epcot), it’s Raglan Road at Disney Springs, who will be celebrating the holiday again this year with their annual Mighty St. Patrick’s Festival!
This year’s Mighty St. Patrick’s Day Festival will run from March 13th through March 17th. The party will feature non-stop entertainment from mornings into the late evenings, with Irish-infused live performances, complimentary face painting, and a vast selection of beers, whiskeys, flights and craft cocktails in addition to Raglan Road’s signature Irish eats.
Live Entertainment
You’ll be able to jig with the best of them while listening to Irish singers and ballads. Performers that will be rocking and rolling us all night long include Strings & Things, a contemporary Irish Trad/Folk/Roots crossover band, and TradGad, three musicians who will perform using a combination of guitar, fiddle, mandolin, uilleann pipes, tin whistle, banjo, and bouzouki (we are very excited to learn what a bouzouki is!).
We’ll also get to catch some tunes performed by Irish sister duo Maca, vocalists Fia Rua, Mike Waters, Emily Furlong, and No Half Measures, a four-piece band from Scotland, Cork and Kilkenny! And don’t forget — the Ragland Road Irish Dancers will be gettin’ jiggy with it” throughout the duration of the festival!
Food
Ragland Road’s regular menu will be available during the festival featuring your favorite pub grub, while the restaurant also hold their Rollicking Raglan Weekend Brunch on March 14th and 15th from 9AM to 3PM! We thoroughly enjoyed this brunch last year — check out our review here!
On Monday, March 16th, Ragland Road is serving a new three-course Whiskey Pairing Dinner from 3PM to 11PM. The prix fixe menu will feature locally sourced dishes like Whiskey Cured House Smoked Salmon and Apple Baked Dumplings paired with the finest Irish whiskey cocktails!
Check out the FULL Whiskey Pairing Dinner menu HERE!
You can get into the festival for free on March 13th through the 16th, but on March 17th there will be a $10 cover charge for each guest over 18 years old. If this celebration is anything like last year’s festival, Raglan Road is the place to be for St. Patrick’s Day this year!
