We stopped at the Nuts About Cheese booth to check out some new dishes as well as classic favorites!

We’re kicking things off with a crowd favorite returning this year!

The Fiscalini White Cheddar Lager Soup comes served in a Mini Boudin Sourdough Bowl. While this was one of our favorites last year at the festival, we have to say that it is still JUST as good as we remember it (and another Best of the Fest contender for this year!). The creamy cheese soup is perfect with that sourdough bread for dipping, and we can’t get enough of it for $6.75.

NEW to Food and Wine this year is the Impossible™ Cheeseburger Mac & Cheese (yeah, it is just as good as it sounds). Mac and cheese dishes are typically pretty popular at the Disney California Adventure festivals, so we were ready to see how this one measured up!

And, boy, is it amazing! There was plenty of thousand island dressing, mustard, and pickles mixed throughout the dish so it was packed with flavor. You can get it for $8, or even the use of one of your Sip and Savor Pass tabs.

If you’re looking to end your time at Nuts About Cheese on a sweet note, the Oikos Greek Yogurt Banoffee Tart is a slight variation on last year’s Yogurt Cheesecake. Okay, we have to say that this treat is already on the Best of the Fest list for us since it’s sooo wonderful!

It almost reminds us of a thicker banana pudding crossed with banana cream pie. BUT, the addition of lots of caramel makes the light dish a bit richer. We might need this every day for dessert tbh (and it’s only $6.25)!

And, we couldn’t forget washing everything down with the NEW Honey Bourbon Lemonade! Don’t be fooled by the “lemonade” in the title because this drink is strong, you guys! However, the sweet flavor from the honey balances the bourbon, making it super refreshing and a great sip for $13.

Nuts About Cheese really outdid itself this year, and we TOTALLY would take another trip back for seconds while the festival runs through April 21st.
