Vegans, pescatarians, and meat-lovers alike are sure to find something to love at Paradise Garden Grill!
We have been looking forward to its reappearance at the 2020 Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival, so come along with us as we try out the returning and brand NEW items at the reimagined booth.
Food
This seasonal spot is offering up the ultimate beer-pairing food menu! Grab a craft beer from the next door Paradise Beer garden and join us!
The Impossible™ Meatball Submarine (with soy cheese) returns from last year and this plant-based sammy is $11.99 and will have you questioning how on earth it’s made from plants.
Another item returning to the menu this year is the Buffalo-style Roasted Turkey Leg with Celery Slaw and Blue Cheese. This gluten-friendly option is $12.99 and we love how the spice of the buffalo turkey is quickly cooled off by the creamy blue cheese dressing.
This year, we say goodbye to the pork tacos and welcome Beer-battered Fish Tacos with Karl Strauss® Follow the Sun Pilsner-infused Batter for $13.49.
This is a nice, light festival option and we loved the beautiful white pieces of fish and crunchy slaw. We were hoping for some oomph from the infused batter, but sadly there wasn’t a whole lotta extra flavor going on here.
Also new to the fest this year: brisket two ways! First, you can try the Brisket Sliders for $12.49.
We enjoyed the flavors here- the brisket was delicious and the apple slaw gave it a nice tang- but we were hoping for just a wee bit more brisket (it was THAT good!).
Good news! If you are looking for a crunchier vessel that’s LOADED with meat, try the Brisket Fries for $13.49!
Show me the meat! Behold, a heaping pile of brisket (way more than the sliders) on top of a mountain of fries! Absolutely delicious and we thought we got our money’s worth for sure.
For a sweet ending to your meal, you can once again pick up the Black Forest Parfait for $5.99.
HELLO beautiful layers of chocolate, vanilla, and cherry — welcome back!
Drinks
Need something to balance out those salty and savory snacks? Don’t you worry because Paradise Garden Grill has plenty of drink options to keep you feeling hydrated.
We’ve been looking forward to trying the new Watermelon Vodka Lemonade since this year’s menus were announced. Watermelon? Lemonade? AND Vodka? — Sounds like a great combo to us! And for $13.00, this gluten-friendly option is as refreshing as it sounds!
The watermelon flavor here is strong, but not overpowering. You can definitely taste the vodka but it’s all well balanced in flavor!
Look out, Berry Patch! You may have some competition with the new, non-alcoholic Berry Spectacular Cookie Shake for $6.99. It’s the perfect mix of sweet berries swirled into a cool, creamy shake!
It tastes just like the adorable frosted animal cracker that adorns it. It’s a welcome change from your typical milkshake.
If you’re looking a little stronger, you can pick up the returning Matanzas Creek’s Sauvignon Blanc from Sonoma County for $11.00, Deschutes Pacific Wonderland Lager for $10.00, or Sudwerk Märzen Amber Lager for $10.00.
We are thrilled to see Paradise Garden Grill returning this year because there are plenty of options for everyone in your party to choose from! While we might not order the brisket sliders again, the brisket fries definitely have us wanting to come back for more!
