We’re always up for a bit of Mexican spice, so we knew we HAD to check out the Jardin de Fiestas booth at Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival!
Although this booth has been at Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival for quite a while now, this year we’re welcoming all-new food AND drinks! Come along with us as we check out Jardin de Fiestas’ brand new offerings!
Food
Goodbye Tres Leches and helloooo to all da meats! Chicken, Pork Pastor, and Chorizo — to be exact! Bring on the heat and more importantly, the CHEESE!
First up, the new Chilaquiles de Pollo! Made with Chipotle-braised chicken, tortillas, salsa ranchera, Monterey jack cheese, crema Mexicana, and Guajillo cheese, there’s nothing in this list of ingredients we aren’t excited about!
The Chilaquiles con Pollo is a huge portion! For only $7, this dish is easily sharable. It reminded us of Mexican lasagna with lots of fun textures! The microgreens on top lent a little freshness to the otherwise heavy plate! If you’re lookin’ to carb up in one of the most delicious ways possible, look no further!
Next, we’re tackling the Quesadilla al Pastor! This one costs $7.50 and consists of a flour tortilla filled with Monterey jack cheese and pork pastor topped with grilled pineapple, salsa verde, red onion, and cilantro!
This one was a nice spin on a classic dilla. The meat, cheese, and salsa were especially flavorful! We kinda wish the chopped pieces of pineapple were mixed in with the cheese and pork filling, but when we enjoyed all the components together, we thought the Quesadilla al Pastor was really delicious.
Finally, the Choriqueso Torta for $7! This one is made with a Bolillo roll filled with chorizo and Monterey jack cheese, avocado mousse, and jalapeños — think of it like a Mexican sloppy joe!
As soon as the first bite of this sandwich hit our tastebuds, we knew we had a Best of the Fest on our hands! This one is seriously delicious. Gobs of shredded Monterey jack cheese make this torta pull at our heartstrings! It was the perfect balance of savory and spicy while the creamy gauc helped cool it down the heat. If we didn’t have so many more foods to try, we’d get it again RIGHT NOW!
Beverages
The new drinks on Jardin de Fiesta are NEXT and we’ve been so excited to try them out!
The Mango Mexican Lucky Margarita costs $11.75 and is mixed up with Spicy Ancho Verde Liqueur, 100% Agave Tequila Blanco, Mango-Passion Fruit Purée, lime juice, Applejack, and Ginger Cordial, served with a Tajin Chili-Lime Rim. We thought this drink had a lot of depth of flavor — sweet with lots of zippiness from the ginger and spicy ancho liqueur!
We also tried the Rosita Margarita. For $12.75, this one’s made with Rose Petal Liqueur, 100% Agave Tequila Blanco, lemon, and cranberry juices, served with a rose petal salt rim. This one was good if you’re looking for a simple marg, but rather one-note especially when compared to the Mango Mexican Lucky Margarita!
There’s also a Cruz Blanca Rosé Spritz for $7 made with Effervescent Rosé Wheat Ale and Elderflower Liqueur.
We were sad to have to say goodbye to last year’s menu, but we had a total FIESTA with Jardin de Fiesta’s new menu!
Don’t miss out on this party at Epcot’s 2020 Flower and Garden Festival which runs through June 1st!

Any chance you know the exact recipe for the Rosita Margarita? I’ve been trying to make it myself and have not been successful.
