Haaaaaaaaappy Friday, fellow Disney-lovers! The Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival is in full swing and we’re so excited to frolic around the parks next week!
Well, we want to be as prepared as possible when it comes to our Disney expectations. So, we’re checking out everything you WON’T be able to do in Disney Parks (on both coasts!). Here’s the full list of all refurbishment closures in Disney World and Disneyland for the week of March 9th through March 15th!
Refurbishments in Magic Kingdom
Walt Disney World Railroad
The staple of the refurb list, Walt Disney World Railroad remains closed this week as work continues on TRON Lightcycle Run over in Tomorrowland. We super miss this iconic attraction and can’t wait to see it back open. TRON is set to finish up in the summer of 2021 but hopefully, the railroad will open sooner. In the meantime, you can stop in for a picture with one of the locomotives at Fantasyland Station.

Refurbishments in Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Kali River Rapids
Kali River Rapids is still closed for its annual winter refurb. We expect the rushin’ river to be raging again on March 21st.

Primeval Whirl
One good piece of news! The seasonally operated Primeval Whirl will be open this month in Dinoland U.S.A. On March 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 28th, and 29th, you’ll be able to whip around on a time travel journey like no other.
Refurbishments in Disney World Water Parks
Typhoon Lagoon
Typhoon Lagoon’s closure continues this week, too! According to the times listed on the Disney website, the popular water park will reopen towards the end of this month on March 29th. In the meantime, you can head to Blizzard Beach for some watery fun.
Refurbishments in Disneyland
Haunted Mansion
Moving across the country, a few refurbs are still going on in Disneyland. Haunted Mansion is still receiving some updates and touch-ups in time for the busy season. The favorite attraction is set to reopen sometime this Spring.

Snow White’s Scary Adventures
Over in Fantasyland, there are some seriously cool updates going on behind the scrim at Snow White’s Scary Adventures. The opening day attraction is getting a new ending scene and a new vignette. Still, the reopening date is yet to be announced.

King Arthur Carrousel
Another opening day attraction is closed as well. King Arthur Carrousel is getting some TLC so that it stays in good condition for years to come. In the meantime, you can check out the history of the carrousel posted on the construction barriers. The reopening date has yet to be announced.

Refurbishments in California Adventure
Red Car Trolley
And with Jessie’s Critter Carousel back open, the only closure remaining in Disney California Adventure is the Red Car Trolley. This classic transport method should reopen alongside the opening of Avengers Campus this summer.
