Although Gaston might be a villain alongside his sidekick LeFou, we can’t help but love their quirky relationship!
And, if you LOVE the original and live-action films, you’re in for a binge-worthy treat (no, it’s not five dozen eggs)!
According to The Hollywood Reporter, there’s a new Gaston and LeFou prequel in the works at Disney+ (um, pinch us, we must be dreaming)!
The show will be produced by ‘Once Upon a Time’ creators Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz along with music by Beauty and the Beast composer Alan Menken. But, the most exciting news is that the six-episode musical event will also feature Luke Evans and Josh Gad as they reprise their roles from the 2017 film (EEEEEK)!
The story will take place before Beauty and the Beast to explain Gaston and LeFou’s origin story, which will give fans the answers they’ve been wanting for YEARS and the show is currently in pre-production.
Alongside Kitsis and Horowitz, Gad will also be a showrunner and scriptwriter. And, Kitsis, Horowitz, Gad, and Evans will all work together as executive producers on the Beauty and the Beast prequel under ABC Signature Studios.
