We’ve been keeping you guys updated with all the precautionary measures that Disney has been taking in their parks to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
Tokyo Disney Resort has already extended the dates that their parks will be closed, but now we’re seeing more changes happening in the U.S. parks!
Hand-washing stations have been set up in both Adventureland and Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom for guests to easily sanitize their hands.
Keep your eyes peeled for these blue tower stations on your adventures in the parks if you need to wash your hands. We spotted the Adventureland hand-washing station is located just inside the entrance to Adventureland.
All you have to do to start the water flowing is press down on the pump underneath the station with your foot.
You’ll find the Fantasyland hand-washing station right across from the Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid attraction.
This will hopefully help make sure that guests have access to as many ways as possible to clean their hands in the parks. We’ll keep our eyes peeled for more hand-washing stations to pop up around the parks.

That is a very smart idea…it is all about washing your hands properly. Thank you for being pro-active Disney.

Great news and thanks for posting, this will hopefully keeps things under control. We are visiting next week and were starting to get a little concerned. It will be interesting to see how busy our flight from Gatwick is.

These only work if people use them. I saw a post just a couple of days ago where a woman observed other woman in the restroom, not washing their hands at all. However much Disney puts out for people to use, people cannot be trusted to use them. I am deeply concerned about coming to Disney, but the rules at Disney do not allow you to change your plans without being punished with fees. It’s horrible that Disney is more concerned with money than the lives of the people who want to visit.

That’ great. From the photo it looks like you still have to press the soap dispenser. It would be even better if it was an automatic soap dispenser as well so you wouldn’t have to press the soap dispenser with your hand that has been touched by hundreds of other people.

I am in Epcot today and haven’t seen ONE hand washing station.

Why isn’t anyone this concerned every year about the flu, that’s WAY more deadly for your kids and those with asthma and cancer and… I’m just shaking my head watching all this hysteria perpetrated by the media. As someone with one kidney and one lung (for over 30 years) who’s traveled every year with the public having no regard for running around with colds, flu, measles, hepatitis I’m WAY more afraid of those when all you quit “sanitizing” everything in sight.
