If you’ve been in Disneyland recently, you may know that the Food & Wine Festival is in full swing in Disney California Adventure (with some of the cutest food booths we’ve ever seen)!
But, this year, Downtown Disney is joining in on the eats and treats (and we are SO excited about it!!).
And, you can have three courses of GREAT food at Catal Restaurant, but you’re going to want to bring a friend or two to share it with!
No matter which of the three Catal options you choose, each one costs $8.
Start your feast with the Burrata tapas, made with Burrata (mozzarella and cream), Prosciutto, and Balsamic Gastrique. It’s served on a spoon, ensuring each portion is the perfect bite! The creamy cheese and the sweet Balsamic made this our top pick of the night!
And afterward, you can dive into the Hand-shucked Oysters drizzled in Champagne and Black Pepper Mignonette — if you’re a fan of the bivalve delicacy! If not, maybe forgo this option!
And, the big finish comes in the form of this delicious-looking Smoked Salmon Crostini! The Smoked Salmon is mixed with Whipped Ricotta and Basil Pesto (just look at all that cheese!!). ::SIGH!::
Even after enjoying these three Food and Wine Festival offerings at Catal, we have plenty of room to head to Disney California Adventure to indulge in some seconds (and thirds) of our Best of the Fest picks! That’s the beauty of tapas, after all! Flavorful, but not too filling! 😉

We do this because it’s important to us as journalists to ensure not only that we give you unbiased opinions, but also that you can trust us to do so since we’re paying our own way. On rare occasions, when we are invited by a company to attend a preview as media, and when we choose to accept that invitation, we will always make you, our readers, aware of that situation. Today, we were invited by Disneyland to attend their media preview of the 2020 Food and Wine Festival.
