HOT DIGGITY DOG!!! There’s a brand new Disney Food Truck now open in Disney Springs!
Actually, make that Hot Diggity DOGS…. because that’s the name of this new truck serving up a variety of over-the-top, completely loaded HOT DOGS on the West Side!
Though the location can change at any time (the restaurant IS a truck, after all 😉 ), we found Hot Diggity Dogs parked at Exposition Park on the West Side of Disney Springs, right by the West Side Starbucks. And, as the park often serves as the spot for the other Disney Food Trucks — the Mac & Cheese Food Truck and Cookie Dough and Everything Sweet — it’s is your best bet for finding Hot Diggity Dogs on any given day.
Hot Diggity Dogs is hard to miss, painted in bright hues decorating the truck with images of pickles, peppers, and more… like hot dogs, for instance ;).
The menu features five different styles of loaded 1/4 lb All-Beef Hot Dogs, all served up with house-made-chips. Your choices are a BLT Dog, Chicago Dog, Chili Cheese Dog, a Reuben Dog, and a Santa Fe Dog.
But why choose… when you can get ALL FIVE??
At least, that’s what we did, so we can give you the digs on these dogs! Time to get rollin’ on these puppies!
The BLT Dog for $12.25 takes the makings of the classic sammie — bacon, lettuce, and tomato — and piles them all atop the beef dog along with a drizzle of garlic ranch dressing taking the place of the typical mayo.
The BLT Dog is definitely the most basic, kiddo-friendly dog with looooots of bacon! For us, there was way too much iceberg lettuce, but we loved the garlic ranch dressing! It’s a simple and delicious dog that we think will be a real crowd-pleaser, despite the leafy greens!
For another hot dog topped with even more meat, you can grab the Reuben Dog for $12.25! Again, it’s a twist on a beloved sandwich featuring a classic all-beef hot dog, pastrami, swiss cheese, Russian dressing, and a pretty terrific complement to any hot dog… sauerkraut!
The Rueben Dog was one of our favorites with that tasty Russian dressing being the star. It’s a “heavier” hot dog because of the pastrami bits (which there’s A LOT of, yay!), while the swiss and the sauerkraut all work together so well. It’s definitely the most “meal-like” of all the dogs and the flavors really pop!
Have you ever tried a Chicago Dog? The traditional toppings include mustard, onions, pickles, tomatoes, and small pickled “sport” peppers. You can enjoy this taste of Windy City for $12.25!
We’ve eaten a lot of Chi-Town dogs in our time, and we really loved this one! The pickles might not be the traditional neon green relish we’re used to and there are no poppy seeds to be seen on this bun, but this dog is still super fresh and tasty. It has just the right amount of red onion, sport peppers, and mustard so that you get the perfect bite each time. Just remember — to keep it authentic to Chicago, don’t ask for ketchup!
The Santa Fe Hot Dog delivers a dog topped with chili lime salt, corn, fresh cilantro, chipotle mayo, and cojita cheese. It’s served with a lime wedge and costs $12.75.
The Sante Fe Dog was one of Hot Diggity Dogs’ more unique offerings. It had a very fresh and light taste while acid from the lime married nicely with the corn and cojita cheese. We actually would have loved a bit more cotija on ours so the saltiness from the cheese could balance out the brightness of the lime. The chili lime salt sprinkled all over the dog along with the chipotle mayo added a nice kick without being too spicy!
Now, if you’re looking to stick with the tried-and-true, it doesn’t get much more classic than a Texas Chili Cheese Dog! This one’s served up with a heaping helping of Texas chili along with shredded cheddar cheese and crunchy corn chips for $12.25!
From Casey’s Corner in Magic Kingdom to Dockside Diner in Hollywood Studios and beyond… you’re never too terribly far from a Chili Cheese Dog when you’re in Walt Disney World! The chili was super mild and a little too sweet for our liking.
We needed a lot more cheddar to do the job as well (we’re cheeseaholics, have you met us?). We did, however, enjoy the crunch and saltiness from the corn chips, but we’ll probably forgo ordering this one again since we enjoyed the other dogs more.
We did ask vegetarian or vegan options, and at this time, Hot Diggity Dog is only serving all-beef franks, but we’ll keep checking back!
Oh, and by the way… we can’t go without giving a nod to those classic Disney house-made chips. Lightly seasoned, nice and crispy, they’re a great accompaniment to pretty much anything, but they go especially well with the loaded hot dogs, no matter which you choose! You can get an order of these House-Made Chips (sans hot dog) for $7!
But guess what? Just like your Hot Diggity Hot Dogs, you can also get your house-made chips FULLY LOADED! You can have them doctored up with the same toppings as those yummy puppies we showed you above including BLT, Chicago, Chili Cheese, Reuben Dog, and Santa Fe-style, all for $7 each!
We chose the Santa Fe-style Loaded House-Made Chips for $7. We enjoyed these flavors a little better with the chips instead of the hot dog. Again, they were a little light on cotija cheese for our liking, but they were extra generous with chipotle mayo, so our chips were really yummy!
Hot Diggity Dog also serves a signature sauce that you can ask for the sauce on the side of any dog. It’s made with piquillo peppers, jalapeño, yellow onion, garlic, red wine vinegar, and brown sugar. We found it to be a little runny and more sweet than spicy. We feel like it could have benefited from some extra heat.
For beverages, Hot Diggity Dogs offers Coca-Cola bottled drinks for $4.50 or Bottled Water for $3.50.
And that’s a wrap for our very first — but not our last — trip to Hot Diggity Dogs in Disney Springs! Today (a Thursday), the new location opened at 5:00 PM; however, hours and location for the trucks can always vary based on anticipated crowds in Disney Springs or simply days of the week.
Mondays through Thursdays typically have a 5:00 PM opening, with Fridays at 3:00 PM, and as early as 12:00 Noon on Saturdays and Sundays. We definitely worth a stop by Exposition Park if you find yourself in Disney Springs to see what the Disney Food Trucks have to offer!

Does anyone know where this food truck went? Curious if it is anywhere else in Florida. The king dog was amazing and we really wanted to get another one when we go.
