UPDATE: As of March 14th, Disney Cruise Line has decided to suspend all departures until April 12th, 2020 in an effort to protect guests and staff from Coronavirus.
We’ve been keeping you posted on the latest updates regarding Disney’s response to the coronavirus.
Earlier today, we saw Disneyland will temporarily close due to the outbreak, followed by both Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney World announcing closures, and now we have news of another closure.
According to an official statement from Disney, the Disney Cruise Line will suspend all departures starting this Saturday, March 14th, until the end of the month.
Disney has been making several efforts to protect its guests and employees, and although we’ve seen their efforts to use preventative measures on the cruise lines, they have decided halting departures will be safest for all parties. We will continue to keep you updated on what this cancellation could mean for Cruise Line Guests.

I’ve been looking forward towards my Disney cruise for a year. My daughter and grandson are also traveling with us and we’re looking forward to making memories Now I have reservations about going , Will it be safe, not only will we be on a self contained ship with thousands of people what do you think the odds are that no one will have the virus. 11 days on a ship with thousands , not the safest environment. I was looking forward to making memories, and many more in the future with my family , don’t want this to be my last one. For those who are fearless , the virus doesn’t care, you or those you love can die too. Do you think any of the 50,000 plus thought they would die. I’m not a gambling man , I always try to make the best informed decisions in my life and the doctors say social distancing , hard to do on a self contained ship with thousands. Also what about the ports were traveling to the virus is there too. I’ll take a cruise next year alive and well
