Even though Governor of California Gavin Newsom exempted Disneyland from the issuance he gave earlier today stating groups of 250 people or more should be postponed until the end of March in the state of California, Disneyland has just announced they’ll be closing this weekend.
We’ve just learned The Disneyland Resort will close temporarily beginning Saturday, March 14th.
The news broke only moments ago on Disneyland’s website with this recent update shows across Disneyland’s main web page.
The following update has also been posted on Disneyland’s site and social pages. The parks will close beginning on March 14th. The hotels are set to close beginning March 16th. At this time, Downtown Disney will remain open.
According to Disney, the length of the temporary closure is currently set until the end of the month. We will continue to keep you posted as this news unfolds.
