Disneyland Resort is currently preparing for a temporary park closure beginning Saturday, March 14th due to precautions surrounding the Coronavirus.
While the Disneyland Resort hotels will remain open until March 16th, we are taking notice of the crowds in Disneyland park as tomorrow’s park closure — which also applies to Disney California Adventure — draws near. (Downtown Disney is, at press time, set to remain open).
Now, it’s important to keep in mind one more factor affecting crowd levels in Disneyland that you will certainly notice in our photos…
It’s raining today. And inclement weather can affect crowd levels at any given time. But we’re nevertheless sharing our look around Disneyland park, where guests are still lining up a bit for those classic Disneyland Corn Dogs at the Little Red Wagon…
And, of course, taking in views of Sleeping Beauty Castle.
An open path leads the way to New Orleans Square.
And speaking of empty paths…
Still, much like in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom today, Adventureland is still… well, full of Adventurers!
Wait times display anything from 5 minutes for Splash Mountain to 40 minutes for Indiana Jones Adventure.
And Boarding Groups, as you can see in the sign, are still in effect for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance in Galaxy’s Edge.
So a fair amount of folks are still making their way to planet Batuu in a galaxy far, far away…
Disney California Adventure
Before we go, here is a quick look at attraction wait times in Disney California Adventure.
Radiator Springs Racers currently shows the highest wait time at 75 minutes.
And that’s our day from what is lovingly known as the Happiest Place on Earth. We thank you for joining us, and we will continue to keep you posted on the latest developments in the parks and beyond as more information continues to be revealed.
