Over the last few days we have heard about many closures in the Disney parks, from Disneyland to Walt Disney World to Disneyland Paris, due to the coronavirus.
We expect Disney parks to remain closed until at least the end of the month to prevent the spread of the coronavirus in large groups, but we just confirmed that not all Walt Disney World facilities will be closed!
If you are already in Disney World, the Walt Disney World Golf and FootGolf courses will be staying open for regular hours.
They are monitoring the situation closely and are in contact with health officials for advice on what measures can be taken to help ensure the safety of all guests and cast members.
This may be a great place to go if you need to get out of your resort for some fresh Disney air!
We will keep you updated on an changes to the Disney World closures as we get more information!

I assume the courses will/should be packed to make up for lost park times. They rent clubs so all golfers should take full advantage of their excellent courses while the rest of the family gets some sun/pool time in. You have to make due so take advantage and make the best of a bad situation. There is some hypocrisy with keeping DS open as its just like walking in a park and touching things in all the stores/restaurants with crowds shoulder to shoulder. We went to the Disney store the other night and there were people sneezing due to allergies picking up now so your thinking are they spreading this?? At least the parks are open air except for closed indoor rides. People touch ride handles just like they touch door handles to get in/out of stores and carry trays at counter service restaurants etc. Just a crazy time as last time we just missed Irma as arrival date was 1st day it reopened and now left 2 days before this closure. Lucky but like so many unlucky families we feel for you all!

Let’s just put the staff in danger as well why don’t they? The golf course must do at least 500-700 rounds daily during peak season and now with the parks closed that would surely ramp up rounds. This is careless and greedy. We continuously talk about helping contain the spreading of this virus yet you keep a recreational facility open just to make an extra dollar.
