The outbreak of the Coronavirus has forced Disney to massively change their plans for the next few months in the interest of health and safety. Disney World has been closed, which also means a ton of Disney events and even the Disney College Program have been suspended temporarily as well.
If you’re an avid runner, you may have been looking forward to runDisney’s Star Wars Rival Run Weekend which is set to take place from April 16-19. And runDisney has just released information pertaining to the upcoming event.
At this time, runDisney is continuing to monitor the Coronavirus outbreak with the help of state and local authorities and health agencies, including the CDC.
Disney has also said that they will share more updates about the race weekend on the runDisney website and social media. Disney is currently set to remain closed until the end of the month, so as of right now, the event is still on! We will continue to keep you posted as we learn more about the situation.
