The Coronavirus outbreak is still causing the Walt Disney Company to make some massive shake-ups. We’ve seen the closure of Disneyland and Disney World, and a slew of movies have had their release dates postponed.
And Tokyo Disneyland recently had its closure dates extended. A number of shows would have performed their last hurrah during this time, but the resort is making sure that guests won’t miss out on the chance to see them!
Starting tomorrow, you’ll be able to watch some of the shows and special events that will be ending while Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo Disney Sea are closed on the resort’s official YouTube channel.
On March 19th, you can cheer on with the Pixar Playtime Pals and It’s Very Minnie! shows.
Tokyo Disney Sea’s version of Fantasmic! will be going away as well, but you can watch it one last time (or a couple dozen) starting March 25th.
If you’re feeling the island spirit, you can stream the Lilo’s Luau & Fun lunchtime show that plays at the Polynesian Terrace Restaurant on March 31st.
You can catch these final performances on YouTube until April 30th. And for many of us, this may be the first time we’ve ever had the opportunity to see these shows! So this is pretty darn cool!
Hopefully, watching the Tokyo Disney magic at home will help brighten your days inside for the time being.
