Only a few things are going to get us through these next few weeks, and one of them happens to be delicious beverages!
We’re talking bunker cold brew coffee drinks and tasty iced teas mostly — with the occasional staycation-version of a margarita from La Cava mixed in for, you know, balance!
Just last week, Joffrey’s shared with us make-at-home versions of their Jamaican Me Crazy Cold Brew and their Iced Capaccino — click here if you missed it!
And now our fellow caffeine fiends have just released a slew of new Joffrey’s recipe hacks! Pinkies up, people! This next line-up will tantalize your tea-drinking tastebuds!
Oh, and before we give you the delicious deets, Joffrey’s is giving us ALL permission to spike any of these options should you want to… or NEED TO! You’ll see which booze they’re suggesting listed as (optional) in the list of ingredients!
Spring Forward Collins
First up, we’re making a fruity, refreshing flavored iced tea drink called the Spring Forward Collins! This one reminds us of a good ol’ Tom Collins with a twist!
Here’s what you’ll need:
- 3 oz. Joffrey’s Blackberry Jasmine Green Tea
- 1/2 oz. Lemon Juice
- 1 1/2 oz. Vodka (optional)
- 1/2 oz. Monin® Hibiscus Syrup
- (substitute with fruit flavored extract of your choice if needed)
- Top off with Club Soda
- Lemon wheel/blackberries (for garnish)
And here’s how to make ALL three of these drinks:
- Fill serving glass with ice
- Pour ingredients into mixing glass in order listed and add ice
- Cap, shake, and strain into serving glass
- Add garnish & enjoy!
Yup, iced teas are A LOT easier to make than coffee drinks — no master’s degree required! Onto the next Joffrey’s recipe!
African Celebration Sour
This next iced tea has some sweet and floral notes we think you’ll really enjoy! Plus, there’s a nice squeeze of lemon for some added pucker!
Here’s what you’ll need:
- 1 1/2 oz. Suntory® Toki Japanese Whisky (optional)
- 1 oz. Lemon juice
- 3/4 oz. Monin® Pure Cane Syrup
- 1 oz. Joffrey’s African Celebration Tea
- 1 pump Monin® Vanilla Concentrated Flavor
- (substitute with vanilla extract if needed & adjust to your liking)
Follow the steps we showed you earlier and easy-peasy, you’re sippin’ back an African Celebration Sour like it’s nobody’s business — especially if you opted to include some of that whisky Joffrey’s suggested!
Summer Citrus Tea
Joffrey’s last recipe for today is a zesty, tangy summertime treat! A little honey provides the buzz-factor to this recipe!
Here’s what you’ll need:
- 7 oz. Joffrey’s Earl Grey Black Tea
- 1/2 oz. Monin® Honey Syrup
- (substitute with honey if needed)
- 1/2 oz. Monin® Orange Tangerine Syrup
- (substitute with orange extract if needed & adjust to your liking)
- Lemon wedge, orange wedge, and mint sprig (for garnish)
There you have it, friends! Three more Joffrey’s drinks to add to your daily repertoire! We’ll continue to bring you more Joffrey’s recipes just as soon as they release them so you can keep brushing up your barista skills! Enjoy!
