Disneyland Resort has remained behind closed gates since shutting down its parks on March 14th.
And, while the temporary closure was only expected to last until the end of the month, Disney officials have just announced Disneyland Resort will remain under lock and key for even longer.
Disney is now saying that the Disneyland Resort will remain closed “until further notice,” but that employees will continue to be paid through April 18th.
Although the parks are doing everything they can to take care of its Cast and Crew, the extended closure is still disappointing for many would-be guests who were hoping to step inside Walt’s original theme park at the beginning of April (as originally projected.).
On Thursday, March 19th, California’s Governor ordered all individuals living in the State of California to stay home until further notice. Universal Studios Hollywood has also extended its temporary closure.

But, I think this is the proper and responsible action to take, since the only truly effective tool we now have to fight the COVID-19 virus is isolation and quarantine.
