Sometimes being at home can be a real bummer (especially when you can’t visit the Disney Parks). Buuut, we’ve been doing our best here at DFB to add some of that magic back into your daily routine!
We’ve given you tips on how to make your favorite park recipes and Flower and Garden festival eats, mix up your own movie inspired drinks, and even let you battle it out over your favorite Disney snacks! And, now we’re feeling SERIOUSLY inspired to make our own DIY Disney attractions!
Although we’ve given you a few crafty tricks on how to Disney DIY with all your toilet paper, people around the world have banded together to create their own homemade Disney attractions! So, we’re sharing a guide to our favorite videos with you (which we’ll continue to update with more “rides” as we find them).
We’ve REALLY been missing that magic of walking down Main Street, U.S.A. with our Minnie Ears on and our hearts full of love for the parks! So, it’s a good thing we can go on a tour of Magic Kingdom right from our own homes, thanks to Jess Siswick!
With @DisneyParks being closed. Looks like I’ll just have to recreate them myself. First stop: Magic Kingdom #homemadedisney pic.twitter.com/OQ130zyDsm

After you’ve made your way into the park, you can stop by and visit the Haunted Mansion created by the hilarious Jenny Lorenzo (while you sing “Grim Grinning Ghosts,” of course),…
Sorry for repost, my account was private when originally posted. My favorite #Disney attraction always has been #philharmagic so since we are all practicing #SocialDistancing , I recreated the attraction at home. #disnerd #HomemadeDisney @tinymallet pic.twitter.com/uFGD4GYz8O

You can even let it go and enjoy all the “animatronics” on Frozen Ever After (the Walker family REALLY nailed this one),…
Inspired by @Brookie_disney & @tinymallet We took an Epcot staycation. #HomemadeDisney #HomeQuarantine pic.twitter.com/bWyf2t7MXi

…fly around your house (and maybe your backyard) on Soarin’ with your family thanks to Eat Breathe Disney,…

Although Tower of Terror happens to be one of our favorite rides in Disney World, we couldn’t help but laugh over this “rejected” version of the ride from Jess Siswick. Who here has ACTUALLY done this?? We want to know… for research purposes (but, please, don’t really do this).

Since you don’t have to hop on a plane to go from coast to coast, you can even take a spin on Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, thanks to Brittany Cole and her friends. Just wait for the ending, you guys!!
we're merrily merrily merrily on our way to nowhere…..because of quarantine with @Kastia @robooctopus #HomemadeDisney #StayHome pic.twitter.com/v8iOKOXa6l

One of the things we miss the most (other than the snacks) are those stunning Disney fireworks. But, the AH-MAZING @CreativeJohnB projection mapped his own Once Upon a Time show on his Cinderella Castle replica (!!!) that will make you feel like you’re actually in the parks! Yes, we’re definitely crying watching the homemade version too!!
Decided to watch the Disney fireworks at home… but in true #imagineer style #projectionmapping #onceuponatime pic.twitter.com/9hPNuGKvN2

Since so many people have participated in the “Homemade Disney” challenge, the original creator, Jess Siswick, pieced together an entire Disney commercial, featuring rides from all over the parks!! That Disney narration style is ON POINT, girl!
I cannot express the overwhelming joy I feel for the activity on #HomeMadeDisney . You all are incredibly creative. Thank you for spreading a little magic in this crazy world and reminding everyone to #stayathome.
This one's for you. pic.twitter.com/pWkDS36S53

We’re seeing some Animal Kingdom Cast Members get in on the fun, too, as part of the #DisneyMagicMoments series on Disney Parks Blog. Safari driver Katleyn re-created Kilimanjaro Safaris in her home! Check this video out as she takes you out onto the “savanna” and even shares interesting facts about some of her favorite animals.

We step on our balcony for exercise to walkin around Epcot showcase. It’s about 2700 steps. We imagine goin from country to country and in our memories stopping for Fish and Chips and a beer and pretzel at Germany.
