It’s been a long time since I’ve made churros. They’re as easy and delicious as this looks. But one tip… instead of cutting from piping bag with a knife, which is awkward, try this: slowly, continuously squeeze piing bag with your non-dominant hand and with your dominant hand keep snipping off the dough with a scissors. I found it to be much easier.

Do you have to change anything in the recipe to bake these?
DFB Sarah says
Netta, you might end up needing to add a little more flour to make them stiff enough to bake. I’m thinking they might deflate/melt since they’re designed for frying.

So easy to make. I was never able to eat them because there not gluten free. With a few modifications i was able to finally try them. No only if I had the chocolate sauce that everyone is raving about
maragie ZMigneco says
Silly, you didn’t give the chocolate dipping sauce recipe!

Wish you had a printable version so we don’t have to hand copy the recipe. Also need a Pinterest button to save it .
DFB Sarah says
Dianna, I’ve shared this with the team!

This recipe is missing the sugar in the beginning. I made these and they unfortunately tasted like cardboard. In step one it says to combine water, butter, salt and cinnamon. I looked up some other recipes trying to figure out why this one turned out so terrible and they all said to combine water, butter, salt and sugar in the beginning. I will be trying this again using a different recipe.
