There’s no question that we’re missing out on all the spring activities that would normally take place at Disney World this time of year. And since these closures are happening over the Easter holiday, that means we won’t get to see the INCREDIBLE Easter Egg displays at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.
We’ve loved taking you all with us each spring to the Grand Floridian are sharing the beautiful work done by the Bakery Team at the resort. But while we can’t see new eggs this year in person, we CAN look back at some of the beautiful displays of Easter past!
Year after year, the Grand Floridian creates stunning Easter egg displays for guests! Here are a few of our favorites.
Beloved Disney Films
One of our favorite things to look for every year is to see how many Disney films we can spot in the egg display! Some of our favorites have included this Mary Poppins Egg:
Here’s another egg inspired by Mary Poppins, featuring a giant chocolate “penguin fountain!”
We also loved this 101 Dalmatians Egg, with the entire “family” huddled around the TV in the front…
…and here’s a lovely painted design on the back!
Atlantis fans might remember this awesome egg from last year:
And we loved this beautiful Coco Egg from last year, too!
Here’s the other side of the Coco Egg!
BB-8 made an appearance in the Grand Floridian Easter Egg display back in 2016!
And who could forget this adorable Little Green Men Egg inspired by Toy Story?
Stitch often makes an appearance in the Easter Egg displays, and here’s one of our personal favorites.
This fun and unique Fox and the Hound Easter Egg took a different approach with a hollowed-out egg design.
This super fun Lion King Egg captures a climactic moment from “I Just Can’t Wait To Be King.”
And here’s a simply STUNNING Cinderella Glass Slipper Egg!
We also loved this floral Tinker Bell egg.
And just look at the details on this stunning Te Fiti from Moana Egg.
Can you believe this painted egg featuring a scene from Sleeping Beauty? It’s pretty incredible!
For all you villain fans out there, here’s an egg featuring the Evil Queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Beautiful Pieces of Art!
In addition to the Easter Eggs representing our favorite Disney films, many of the Grand Floridian Easter Eggs are simply breathtaking pieces of art.
Check out this BEAUTIFUL Frog Prince Egg!
Last year we spotted this egg which depicted the classic Van Gogh painting “The Starry Night.”
Every single egg we’ve come across over the years has been beautiful and we’re always impressed by the artistry employed by the Bakery Team at the Grand Floridian.
And of course, what Easter Egg display would be complete without an egg representing the Easter Bunny himself?
One of the most striking eggs we’ve spotted in years past is this intricate Woven Egg.
Just look at the DETAIL!!
Another egg with an entirely different kind of detailing is this beautifully painted egg. The colors were so vibrant!
Here’s another beautiful egg with a ton of spring-like vibes!
Also beautiful and vibrant, this peacock egg took our breath away.
And last but not least, this gorgeous marbled Grand Floridian Egg was a stand-out way back in 2016!
