We started with 64 of Disney World’s finest restaurants and eliminated half of ’em in the first round. Meanwhile, round two was just as vicious, narrowing the field to only 16 remaining contestants. And now, after carefully tabulating your votes from last night, we’ve widdled it down to our FINAL 8!

Aloha Isle has POUNDED Woody’s Lunch Box into the sandbox as swift vengeance for taking out Ronto Roasters earlier in round two. One thing’s for sure — Aloha Isle ain’t here to PLAY! Maybe it’s the Kakamora Float keeping Aloha Isle afloat in this competition? It certainly gets our vote!

Meanwhile, Gaston’s Tavern has brawled its way through once again! Is it the fact that he uses antlers in all of his decorating that’s got you so smitten, or is it the LeFou’s Brew? Either way, we can’t wait to see which one of these Magic Kingdom spots makes it into round five!

Another match we’ll be following intensely is Chicken Guy! v. Casey’s Corner. I mean, Guy Fieri’s got 22 different sauces in HIS corner! Could this hoard of deadly dipping sauce assassins take down our beloved CC’s plastic cheese in a cup???

Now that Flame Tree Barbecue has polished off D-Luxe Burger, does it have enough strength left to take down La Cantina de San Angel, the dark horse and unexpected people’s champion of this whole situation?

And our last match-up brings two unlike foes together into the octagon — Ghirardelli and Yak & Yeti! One’s savory, one’s sweet…who could possibly be left standing once this delicious battle is over?

My wife and I did the bracket last night.
The problem we found was that you put desert (or mostly desert) and/or snack places up against quick service food locations.
For example Aloha Isle is not quick service. That’s a snack.
And Ghirardelli is a snack/desert location.
Putting that against dining/food location just is NOT apples to apples.
It’s more like Apples to fried chicken.
You should have had a more equal bracket.

Glad to see delux burger go down to flame tree! Everything about delux IS delux Except the BURGER, Denice, Dry, Flavorless! It’s a mystery to me why other bloggers rave about it?
