We knew La Cantina de San Angel was on a hot streak after taking down France pavilion’s Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie AND L’Artisan des Glaces — which was NO EASY FEAT!

We thought its luck might finally be running out… after all, Flame Tree Barbecue has quite the BEEFY following! Or so we thought! That’s right — La Cantina de San Angel seems truly unstoppable now, having just taken out what we thought was a BIG contender for the number one spot!

But La Cantina de San Angel won’t be taking the belt without one last fight! Aloha Isle is still in it to win it and if you remember from our DFB Snack Madness Tournament last month, Pineapple Dole Whip came out on TOP! Could Aloha Isle be the one to take down La Catina de San Angel???

OK, my mind is already going for next bracket competition. Table service tournament. How about 1/4 bracket pairs all the DS restaurants, 1/4 pairs up the park table services, 1/4 pairs up Resort table services, and 1/4 would pair up the buffets. Then we have the best of each going head to head in the final 4 and to get there they would have had to outpoint those in their same category/ own 1/4 of the bracket. Otherwise we have the difficult decisions like we had with the single item competition, having a cinnamon roll go against say corn dog nuggets, not apples to apples. Do more like pure buffets vs resorts restaurants vs DS locales or park table service dining?
