Today was supposed to be day one of the Star Wars Rival Run Weekend in Disney World, so we’re feeling extra sad that it was canceled!

Luckily, that wasn’t the only runDisney event we had to look forward to this month. The 2020 runDisney Virtual Series kicks off today too and since you can do this one from home, this is a great way to get your runDisney fix until you can get back into the parks. Plus, the Virtual Series medals were released today and they’re SO COOL.
We’ve been pumped to get a glimpse at these designs ever since we heard about what attractions would be represented by the 5Ks — Mad Tea Party, Space Mountain, and Haunted Mansion. Plus, if you run all three 5Ks you can get the runDisney Virtual Series Challenge medal with a retro Disney World ticket book design!

Sorry, did someone say Madame Leota’s face in MEDAL FORM? We were already having trouble with our decision on which virtual 5K to run. At this point, we’re just going to have to do the challenge to grab all four medals!

Registration is available NOW for all four of the virtual events so that you can get running whenever you want! The individual 5Ks are $40 each and if you do the challenge, it’ll be $145. You have all summer to run these (until August 31st) so get registered!
